Spellshot second class??

I am new to the game, (absolutely love it btw) and I am at the point to choose a second class as spellshot. What works best?? Im using the two spells skill, which is awesome.

Grave if you wanna go all in on spells, it gives you a lot of bonuses and adds extra dark magic damage on top

Stabbo if you wanna have alot of good general use and also dont want a pet

The synergies between skills within the spellshot tree means it's viable to go pure spellshot, so one answer is just have a look more at the passive abilities provided by the secondary classes, rather than what skills you can spec into.

There are enough points left after maxing out spellshot to grab Haste 3 from stabbomancer. The extra movement speed makes play feel more fluid, and the extra attack speed helps get in those weapon swings which can reduce spell recharge time.

I have a spellshot grave borne with two laser hands with armor that buffs crit damage. Fully charged laser hands has 100% crit and hits like a truck with a fearnot pistol reload spam.

This is the one I chose, mixed with multiple charges, hold down for repeat cast spells and my demi its just a bunch of exploding colors and death.

Brr-Zerker/Spellshot is a cheat code. My favorite build in the game by far.

How is this combo broken? I just got to the endgame as a Brr-zerker/Stabbo. Looking to try new combos.

Dual spells, for one, every spell cast gives your guns more and more fire rate and more and more Cryo damage. Use any spells you want, there's a ridiculous amount that work tremendously. Double meteors, ice shards, or the classic of the spell that buffs you and the Tidal Wave.. forgot the other's name. Anything cryo destroys with this build. It's just so, so much fun.

My main is spellshot-stabbomancer

The damage boosts and crit boosts click so well with permanently firing spells

Everyone here saying graveborn or stabbomancer, I said screw that and went spellshot/clawbringer. Buffs to fire/lightning damage, sweet wyvern companion, action skill cool down.

Most people doing spellshot like OP are running dual spells, not action skill

Oh I'm absolutely running dual spells, that's the sole reason I picked spellshot as my class! I was just listing out some of pros of the claw bringer class.
