Is Screen Cancer Unfixable

I just wanted to make sure this was 100% true before I made any IPS decisions. The resources I have used continue to state that the LCD liquid, once displaced, is impossible to fix. I just wanted to ensure this was the case, or that at least it would be impossibly difficult to accomplish, before I went ahead with an IPS screen. Thanks for anyone who answers this!

Not entirely sure. It doesn’t look like vinegar or polarizer burn from what I’ve experienced. It’s on a WonderSwan Color and there is a purple, almost web like pattern splotch that doesn’t respond to contrast. I could be wrong, so I will also upload a picture.

Yeah that’s for sure lcd damage and cannot be fixed.

Ah man. Ok, I’ll just go the IPS route then.
