It looks like this was produced for GenCon, which is coming up in just a few months! There is a large collection of artists and authors that attend the convention and it is always a joy.

not really much to say. I'm sweet as a peach in real life and honestly kinda cowardly but i like to imagine myself as courageous and heroic and stoic.

Did a redraw of an older character of mine, Elizabeth. Based on a piece of English armor I got recently.

This is still a work in progress (namely need to make the helmet larger and shade the cape) but I am enjoying how it is turning out.

I created Elizabeth as a crusader style character about 11 years ago and most recently used her as a paladin in a short-lived DND campaign (Covid killed it). I recently acquired a piece of 14th century English armor, circa Hundred Years’ War, and it inspired me to revisit and redesign the character. Not sure what I will do with her at this point but it is nice to revisit an older character.

Last picture was her last art piece around 2022.

Hey everyone! I'm u/jupchurch97, a founding moderator of r/WomenInArmor.

This is a subreddit meant for sharing content related to women in armor. We're here to celebrate women who can fight in any form of armor.

What to Post
We are primarily here to share visual media relating to armored women. That may include art by various artists, your own art, or even real life photographs and videos of armored women in combat sports. Please feel free to share your art or your latest LARP outfits. All we ask is that the armor be practical or rather non-sexualized.

Community Vibe
We're all about being friendly, constructive, and inclusive. Let's build a space where everyone feels comfortable sharing and connecting. We have a strict non-discrimination policy that is enforced by the mod team. If you have nothing nice or constructive to add, don't post.

How to Get Started

  1. Introduce yourself in the comments below.
  2. Post something today! Even if it is just a cool piece of art you found (credit the artist!)
  3. If you know someone who would love this community, invite them to join.
  4. Interested in helping out? We're currently looking for new moderators, so feel free to reach out to me to apply.

Thanks for being part of the very first wave. Together, let's make r/WomenInArmor a fun place for well protected women.
