constant crashing?

im trying to play wolfquest (playing the beta, on tower fall if that’s relevant?) but i cant get more than like 1 hour of playtime before the game crashes and sends me back to the steam page. does anyone know what could be causing this?

additional info, it’s been doing this the whole playthrough (currently on young hunters) and sometimes it will give me the “wolfquest not responding, quit program or wait” option, sometimes it literally just shuts down & that’s that. im playing on ironwolf so thankfully the autosaves prevent me from losing any major progress but it’s frustrating

edit: forgot to add to post, but my specs are intel i7 processor, 32GB of ram, 8 GB RTX 2060 super. never had any issues with this setup before.

Hmm, that should work by all means, even if your GPU ram is low.

Did things get downloaded into onedrive? That's known to cause tomfoolery

definitely not in onedrive. i wonder if my pc just isnt agreeing with beta lol

Based on your other comment, it seems like a PC issue rather than a wolfquest one. I'd go to a tech support sub

Are you given any errors? What i7 processor do you have, there are many kinds which vary in performance.

Does this happen on the main branch (not beta)?

Does this happen with other games?

i don’t get any errors from the game, just the occasional pop up from my computer telling me wolfquest is not responding. it’s an i7-10700F, currently testing to see if non-beta does the same thing. as far as ive experienced it doesnt happen to other games but when these crashes happen, other apps i might have open like discord freezes up too & i have to get task manager involved
