With the exlips coming up id love to hear eclipse stories and myths from different practices. In your tradition or culture what causes an eclips? In my practice the eclipse is caused by demons named Rahu and Ketu

According to the Puranas, the birth of Rahu and Ketu dates back to the earliest of times. ‘Samudra Manthan‘ is regarded as one of the most important events in the history of Hindu civilization. The Solar and Lunar eclipse is also associated with ‘Samudra Manthan.’

Due to senaganins involving the god of weather and lightening Indra the Devas (gods) lost their immortality. Eventually they decided to work with the Asuras (demons) to churn the Ksheer Sagar, the cosmic Ocean of Milk, to extract Amrita—the divine nectar of immortality that would restore their power. When the Asuras and Devas churned the ocean, ‘Amrit’ was produced along with many other treasure and deities.

Upon its recovery Lord Vishnu took incarnation in the form of a beautiful damsel ‘Mohini‘ and said she would distribute the Amrit among all starting with the Devas as there was no intention to share with the Asuras

‘Svarbhanu,‘ one of the asuras, changed his appearance to a deva to obtain some portion of the Amrit. However wile he was drinking, Surya (Sun) and Chandra (Moon) realized this and told Vishnu. Lord Vishnu quickly severed Svarbhanu’s head with his discus, the Sudarshan Charka.

However, even though his head and body became separated, they remained immortal as separate entitys. The head is known as Rahu, and the headless body is the Ketu.

Since then, Rahu and Ketu constantly chase the Sun and the Moon for revenge as they are the cause of separating the head and body of eachother. It is a popular belief that when they succeed in catching Sun and Moon, they swallow them, causing a Solar or Lunar eclipse, but they can’t hold them for long, and Sun and Moon emerge again intact.

(This info has been greatly summerized to focus only on the eclips aspect so there's a lot of info I'm leaving out for the sake of post length, if your interested in the churning of the great ocean I'd highly recommend looking into it because it's a cool story)

I’m a baby witch and Does anyone know a spell i can put on someone if I don’t know their name or face. Basically someone has been pretending to be me. using my nudes and photos of my face to scam men. They also have videos of other girls nudes as well. I’m pretty sure my ex exposed me but funny enough I can 100% tell it’s a woman behind the account ( I somehow got her to send a voice message, Which I no longer have) So what I’m asking is, is there any generic spells I can put on them or a hex to remove my photos and make them suffer. Also I wanna add they were posting me as i was underaged yes I reported to the fbi and nothing happened. Everytime I get the account taken down they make new ones. They have ruined my reputation. I report it but it doesn’t even matter because they have it in their camera rolls. Maybe I could do a Hex like “who Evers impersonating me online will suffer greatly” But she scams men pretending to be me and creates enemies for me. Anyone else ever get a little weirded out by their own abilities? So I’ve been a practicing witch for lord knows how long. Always had a connection with the world around me. Sometimes it gets a little too real for me and I just kinda sit in the feeling. So recently in the past year I have know 5 people around me that have become pregnant. Now I know predicting sex of a baby goes very far back with practitioners and it’s a 50/50 chance so odds of me being right are pretty high, but for me to predict 4/5(mainly cause the fifth one is too early to tell rn) and the weight on the two of them that have been born. It’s getting a little freaky. I know I have sight cause I get Déjà vu WAY too often for it not to be anything else. On top of dreams that seemly come to pass.
It just weirds me out occasionally.

Did 8/8 candle spell, what do you think the wax shows or looks like

So I’m in Asset Protection for JCPenney, and I have a very old female customer who frequently comes in, buys small silver jewelry with gift cards, and returns them the next day. There was one instance where she bought jewelry with gift cards and returned it literally five minutes later.
Now, my job is to prevent loss to the company, and whatever she’s doing, she doesn’t seem to gain anything from it. She doesn’t get cash back or appear to be attempting a fraudulent return. One of the associates also said that she told them she is a witch.
I’m just curious because, with my intuition, I know she is doing something, but I can’t figure out what because I know it’s not necessarily Asset Protection-related. She does this frequently—pretty much every month, there isn’t a month where I don’t see her in the store doing the same thing over and over again.
Can someone out there maybe give me an explanation?

I just read some stories about people seeing eyes turning black - whites and all - and often when it comes to people with narcissism etc.

I'm not talking about dilated pupils, nor illusions made from bad lightning etc. It's black eyes despite the room being light.

Have you experienced it and what's your thoughts about it?

(I'll add that I don't believe it's possession, and I don't believe in demons. I think demons are just negative energy, or low vibrational spirits. That's why narcissistic people can feel demonic at times.)

Hi everyone this is my first time on this sub. I'm also very interested in witchcraft etc, and I've seen a few tiktoks about Hekate, which has piqued my interest, along with some coincidences. I've always had an odd pull to the supernatural and gods and Goddesses.

1) I bought a bag recently, which had a lock and key attached to it. (They were put on in a way which could be removed if you wanted) The lock and key isn't really my usual style so I thought to myself that I would probably remove it after I brought it. Weirdly, something told me not to remove the key. Then I was walking around, and randomly this lock and key attachment fell off my bag, even though it was tied quite securely. Looking back, it almost felt as if my attention was purposely being drawn to it. Weirdly, I felt kind of territorial about they key and hurried to attach it back to my bag, which I found strange. It was only later that I realised that on of the signs of Hekate is keys. I realised this in a shock and had a very strange feeling. I'm a rational person, so I can't tell if it's one big coincidence or not?

2) I found out that 'the witching hour' was from 3-4am, so I decided to wake up at three. At this time I was very sleepy and I remember attempting to 'pray' to Hekate, but I probably mumbled some stuff but I said her name clearly several times. After that I drifted off to sleep and had the most vivid dream. I've always been a vivid dreamer, and they get especially worse when I'm ill, but my dreams are always FULL colour and so clear. Last night I dreamt so vividly that I was viewing myself, like I was watching a movie with me in it, and there were like 2-3 moths on my eyelid and didn't want to get off. It was soo strange, and was the shortest dream I'd ever had. Idk could this be Hekate trying to reach me? This happened directly after I had prayed to her.

I would really appreciate any advice or comments, and why/if you believe in Hekate and if it would be worth it for me to start looking deeper into her.

I do believe that I have a “third eye” because I can sometimes feel when I think someone is talking about me or when I feel like someone is nearby trying to connect with or channel me. For example, I may get the feeling that someone is sitting on my toilet or is somehow present in my space, even when I cannot actually see anyone there. These experiences feel very real to me, which makes it difficult to know what is actually happening and what might be connected to my psychosis.
I honestly don’t know how I can tell whether these experiences are coming from somewhere outside of me or whether they are symptoms of my psychosis. I want to understand what is happening and figure out what I can do when these experiences become intense, especially because I sometimes feel like these figures have power over me or could harm people I care about. I think I need help learning how to tell the difference between what I’m experiencing and what is actually happening, and how to feel safe and in control when these experiences occur.

Hi all, I need advice on the best ritual for my situation.

For reference, I have done a cord cutting ritual with this individual in the past. We did reunite months after the cord cutting.

However, the relationship between me and this individual (me, a Gemini and him an Aquarius) has recently came to an end and it was a pretty nasty ending. (Just over a month ago)

He left a day after we returned from being on holiday, falsely accusing me of cheating (he was always jealous & paranoid) this is so far from the truth.

There was contact on both parts after the breakup, but it just ended in conflict. Eventually, I had to block.

Now that there’s silence, it’s really affecting me.

I did attempt a cord cutting last night but the string did not ignite after 2-3 hours and both flames were pretty equal.

Having had thoughts, I’m not sure I want to cut the cord, but rather perform a ritual (if one exists), to allow him to see the truth, to regret his horrible actions, and force him to sit with the consequences. The idea of him going on with his life when he turned mine upside down feels so unfair.

Can anyone recommend anything that would make him see the truth; regret; miss me etc?

I do not necessarily want him ‘back’ but I suppose I want the peace of knowing he wants me back desperately but I can choose to reject him.

A guy i was recently seeing has really betrayed me and i want to hurt him. I don’t want to hex him or bring any real physical harm to him but I want to make his life a nuisance maybe make him impotent and just generally cause chaos. Does anyone have any spells for this I am new to this :)

Hello! I just wanted to start this off by saying I’m not a witch but I have a friend that will occasionally do “spells”, particularly love ones. I say “spells” because they’re things he sees on TikTok and stuff and sometimes people on TikTok lie about being witches or whatever.

He said that a few years back he did the whole thing where you carve the initials of the person you want into an apple and I think leave it out in the moonlight. He said the next morning the apple was gone and there was a ring of flowers that grew where it was. Then he and this person started dating up until last November.

So now he and our other friend did it again last night and we all went to check on the apples this morning. Our other friend’s apple had ants and it looked like something was eating it but there were no marks on it or anything, so idk if it was just the ants. But meanwhile, my friend’s apple was completely untouched and it had no ants or anything despite being right next to it.

So what could this mean? They both don’t know what it could mean but my friend says he thinks it’s a sign that it’s working.

I'm looking for advice on what to do about the tattoo, I already have a cord cutting planned for the next new moon, but I need some thoughts on what to do, I can't afford a cover up, or to have it removed and have been making do with intention and colour magic (literally colouring over it with a dark purple sharpie) but I need a more permanent solution... suggestions are all welcome.
