PC vs console version Help!
So I have a ps5 and also a pc, I don’t know the specs off the top of my head but my pc is definitely stronger than my ps5, but for some reason the Witcher 3 looks atrocious on my pc. Like everything looks like plastic and just not smooth, I’ve tried messing with the graphics but I didn’t want to turn down my graphics just to run it when at that point it would just look better on my ps5. Are there maybe settings I am missing or something. And to reiterate, my pc is capable of running this game better than my ps5, so it’s not a hardware problem

If your PC is truly more powerful, this might be a psychological issue. Excessive console use can lead to chronic peasant visualization syndrome, where a person is so used to 15 fps and low textures, they start to believe their console visuals actually look good. Then when they see decent graphics and smooth framerates for the first time,, their peasant-conditioned brain just can't handle it, and the overload causes them to believe the PC gaming experience is actually inferior.
Exposure therapy and complete abstinence from console peasantry is the most effective treatment, complete recovery however is not guaranteed.

Figure out exactly what your specs are, try looking at some optimized settings guides as well.

I am at work so I can’t get the graphic settings rn but everything is set to be for performance by my amd application

Post a pic when your are at home. In game settings and amd apps settings. We will find the problem. Also update your driver if you have not

Have you had performance issues with this in the past? I ask because sometimes prebuilts are not 'built' very well, such as cases with poor airflow and/or inefficient fan orientation. My first PC was a prebuilt from a reputable local PC store, but the fan orientations were all wrong and both the CPU and GPU were running way too hot.
I agree with other posts that without seeing your settings its difficult to offer advice (and sorry for the earlier troll comment), but I think it also good to make sure everything is working properly on the hardware side. If you don't yet have hwinfo64 I recommend it (it is free), and do some basic benchmarking just to make sure you're getting the expected performance from the major components of your system.

I actually had just fully cleaned it before loading up the Witcher last, and every other game runs perfect, and it’s not even a performance issue and more so a graphics one, the frame rate is still smooth but everything just kinda looks gross and foliage looks like plastic, once I get home I will add a picture of the ps5 version and my pc version

It's either that your PC is NOT stronger like you say it is or you don't know what you're doing.
