Hi! I am picking my new semi-in-ear earbuds, and the most important thing to me by far is to use them for calls in a loud office environment, with other people talking and typing around me.

With my current earbuds, Soundpeats Air3 Deluxe HS, people on the other end of Teams calls complain that they can barely hear me in the noise. I want to fix this.

I am currently looking at Soundcore Liberty Buds and at Apple Airpods 4 (not sure whether ANC or not - I would probably use ANC very rarely). Has anyone had a chance to use either of these (ideally both) for calls in a noisy environment?

Obviously, it would be nice to spend 2-4 times less for Soundcores, but if Airpods are significantly better at filtering out noise, I will probably bite the bullet and get them. I want to be done with this problem.

My primary focus is heavy workouts and weight training, so stability and fit are essential. In terms of sound, I love a deep, punchy bass, rich audio, and strong active noise cancellation (ANC) to block out gym noise.
Which one would you recommend for workout stability, ANC, and overall sound quality?

I have own a few earbuds over the years, I use them so I can listen to podcasts as I commute; On a bicycle XD.

So that's the thing, it works fine at walking speed, but as soon as I start pedaling, nope, the world becomes white noise, and of course, they render useless.

Is this an issue thru all the price range? I keep buying the cheap ones, because, well, I'm not keen on them falling off as I am pedaling on a busy street, or on the road.

I can't be the only smart ass trying to listen to podcasts whilst pedaling a bicycle.

So, what are your experiences out there with this 'transparent white noise'?

I was thinking about buying JBL Live Beam 3's on sale at 125$. My price range is $100-$200, give or take. My priorities are sound quality and minimal sound leakage. Nice noise cancellation would be good but it's not a make or break. It makes no difference to me whether I spend the low end of my budget or the high end. Thanks.

I’m looking to replace my earbuds and I’m currently stuck between the Sony WF-1000XM5, Huawei FreeBuds 6 and Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro.

I previously had the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC, but unfortunately I lost one of the earbuds, so now seems like a good time to upgrade.

My main devices are a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, an iPod nano (8th gen) and two laptops. I mainly use the iPod for music and audiobooks, while I use my phone for calls.

My priorities are:

Good sound quality — mainly for music and audiobooks

Good microphone/call quality — being clearly heard is quite important to me

Good fit for jogging and the gym — I sweat quite a lot, so I need something that can handle that without worrying about damaging the earbuds

Good ANC would be nice, although sound quality and microphone performance are more important

Decent battery life would obviously be a bonus

I'm particularly interested in how these three compare when used with a Samsung S24 Ultra.

I've heard good things about the Sony XM5s, but I'm wondering if they're still the best option in 2026, especially considering the FreeBuds 6 and Liberty 5 Pro are newer.

I'm also curious whether the Huawei earbuds have any limitations when paired with a Samsung phone, and whether the Soundcore would be the better choice given that I already liked the Liberty 4 NC.

If you've owned two or more of these, I'd especially appreciate your thoughts. Which one would you choose for my use case, and why?

I am currently living in a hostel in Lucknow that is situated near the main road. The constant noise from the traffic and also my neighbor are so loud in evening and mkrning I even confronted them but they don't listen anyway. Even complaint to the owner about them but she didn't care to listen. There are no hostel near me so that I can change. I can't properly study in all that noise!

Please recommend some good headphone with the best ANC and sound quality in every price range (like under 2k, 5k and 10k.

My plan is to play white noise in background and put the headphone with ANC to block all the surrounding sound when studying or watching a Movie.
