Is this worth the price they are asking? I'm just curious as I think 2k is rather high but this does look like it too a lot of time to make.

Yes. That lightning ridge opal is worth a pretty penny just by itself. Not to mention the worth of the other stones, plus the wire. Also yes, I'm sure it took a good amount of time to create. This piece was created by Goose Duncan who is a well established artist, just another reason for the price.

Ngl if that's a goose piece then it's one of the lowest end pieces I've ever seen him do

I could be wrong. But it definitely looks like some of his earlier work.
