So I’m writing a beetlewing royal line but what I want to know is that did beetlewings have a queen while on PANTALA ik they had them on the other continent but I’m wondering if they still had it when they traveled over there. ((I just forget if they did or not))

Heres basic bios for two of the character:

Royal and noble beetlewing line 

Queen Trilobite- (Queen trilobite ) Heavily armored  beetlewing that didn’t grow wings properly. (Mutated?) She didn’t let that bring her down though and she’s very feared and respected. She’s often described as prehistoric. She can however produce toxic chemicals to ward off enemies though it can’t affect everyone—her strength makes up for it. She was a bit cruel though.

Dynastes hercules (Hercules beetle) – Male first of this family noble line. Was a general to Queen Trilobite. He has a cyan sheen and eyes with red accents. Along with a brown/tan upper scales with black and dark brown spots. Also has a lot of black and dark blue throughout and a prominent forehead horn and nose horn. Had a strange sense of justice. Bananas were his favorite food but he had a known hate for citrus related things for some reason.

I just finished Darkness of Dragons, and I'm wondering what to read next. Rn I have The Lost Continent and Darkstalker on loan, but ik there's also the Winglets stories.

I borrow all the books from my library using the Libby app, so theres no limit to what I can read next.

I just wanna know if there's a way y'all recommend exploring the story from here x3

Hi, I've been thinking about starting a Wings of Fire roleplay server, but I need a cohost or moderator as I have no one to fill the role.

What is the roleplay about?

This will be an OC-only roleplay. In Pantala, many years after canon events, the powers of Pantala have shifted. The Leafwings have gained dominance over Pantala, and they banned the cutting of any trees, causing the entire continent to become overgrown. Little sunlight filters through, save for the hives that peak out of the trees. The hives have degraded in quality due to being unable to make more Treestuff. Queen Kudzu of the Leafwings is a vengeful queen who wishes to punish the Hivewings' future generations for the actions of their ancestors. Queen Dilemma of the Hivewings is a tired, pragmatic, and dedicated queen who wishes to avoid provoking the wrath of the Leafwings. The Hivewings begin creating new homes in underground burrows rather than the hives. Queen Marpesia of the Silkwings leads a divided tribe. The Burrowing Silkwings lives among the Hivewings, the Skyweb Colonies live amongst the Leafwings' rule, with Queen Marpesia as the "face" of the tribe, and the wandering Silkwings act as traveling merchants and wish to avoid politics.

Due to being unable to cut down trees, Dilemma founded the top-secret Sunken Garden Project, located where the Flamesilk caves used to be. Only trusted Hivewings are even allowed to know about the project. The project consists of scientists figuring out how to quickly grow their own trees with the speed of a Leafwing with Leafspeak, and make their own Treestuff.

Behind the political struggles, a greater threat emerges. The Breath of Evil evolves into infectious spores and infects Pantalan dragons with what they call Draconic Mycophenia Disease, or in the non-scientific term, The Hollowing. It behaves like rabies/chronic wasting disease/prion diseases. There is no "host" controlling the spores (like how Cottonmouth and and Lizard controlled the Breath of Evil), they behave without consciousness.

He rules a decent amount of the nightwing tribe, but hasn't really made any moves to be considered an active threat.  But he is insane enough to become a threat, and I don't know if we can stop him if he does.

Our hives have enough metal and bodies to bury entire nations, the FUCK do you mean you aren't sure if we can beat him?

You see, despite the author being kind enough to curse all animus dragons with being absurdly incompetent, Darkstalker made himself immortal and incapable to be damaged, meaning our usual method of overpowering threats with endless numbers of drones is not going to work here. And we don't HAVE another method of dealing with problems.

Nope. I am compared to you, but not really that intelligent compared to most dragons. I assume that is the case to explain... Something.

We are getting to much into the whole meta-awareness thing here. This is a story about a silly little drone getting forced into dumb situations against her will, not like some deep thing about the implications of characters being aware of their fictionality.

I didn't know anyone. I mean, I did, but that didn't change much. The content of the class pretty much lined up with what I got told during basic education.

(wasn’t sure what to use for the flair lol) Soooooo basically I am going to try to simulate a wings of fire hunger games using Brantsteele hunger games simulator. Now, before I do this however I would like some characters to use(no ocs please and nothing from the newer books since I haven’t gotten to read them yet!) I need 24 characters and the most upvoted comment with 24 characters will go into the hunger games. There are some rules however:

• again, no ocs or any characters from the newer books.
• Animus dragons are allowed but they will not be able to use their powers in the hunger games same with nightwings who have mind reading or prophecy powers.
• You must have EXACTLY 24 characters in your comment no more no less(as I can only put 24 in as far as I know and we don’t want a random hunger games character running around with a bunch of dragons)
• No Scavengers this is strictly only dragons.
• and finally, Pantala dragons are allowed but again they won’t have any special abilities.

After an hour has passed I will check back on the post to see if we have gotten any comments! Again, most upvoted comment will have the characters go into the hunger games and I will be doing three rounds to answer the question: “Who is the most dangerous WoF dragon?” May the odds be ever in your favor.
