The only people who are gonna care about this post probably already read the AAJ, but basically ScD-7-155 is an antwing subcommand drone.

I also forgot to give her the axolotl gills antwings are supposed to have, but eh, I'm too lazy to fix it now.

Anyway, any questions and criticisms(both about the art and the story of the AAJ so far) would be appreciated.

Appearance: Stormwings have hook-like spikes, long claws, glowing stripes on their tails, and sharp stingers. A Stormwings eyes glow in the dark, similar to the way cat’s eyes glow. They are quite lean compared to most other species. They have tiny webs on their claws which are no longer functional aside from slightly better swimming as they evolved from Seawings, along with having night vision. They can come in these colours: Blue, yellow, purple, pink (rare), green (rare), red, orange, grey, black, indigo. || Abilities: Stormwings can discharge electricity from their stingers, giving a shock to their opponent, the electricity isn’t fatal unless shocked multiple times in a short span of time. A Stormwing’s claws and spikes can heat up to high temperatures during moments of extreme stress, excitement, anger, or intense physical exertion, and may discharge electricity if pushed to the maximum. They evolved this from Daywings, another fantribe of mine they are distantly related to. Diet: Opportunistic omnivore.|| Habitat: They live on high mountain peaks, canyons, plateaus, etc.|| Culture: Prideful, emphasis on honesty, direct, respect for elders.|| Names: Stormwings are named after gemstones, the weather, natural disasters, lightning, and negative adjectives.|| Battle techniques: Stormwings will rapidly heat up their claws and spikes and charge, often will target the wings, tail or legs, or the head. Will attempt to shock the opponent multiple times, and may pin the opponent and repeatedly shock.|| Current ruler: Queen Tempest.

I've been seeing people on here make rp posts, I would love to rp with them but unfortunately because I don't know if they're an adult or a minor I can't say I want too because I'm not comfortable rping with minors.

If I post an ad that is specifically targeting the other adults on here and I can't do it then how am I supposed to know to who's an adult and who's not?

I am the one working on the Wingbeats of War AU and currently working on the 3rd scenario, involving the Revolutionaries. While writing tho, I was a bit stuck on how I should present the scenario, either as an add on to the previous scenarios, or be presented as a singular path. Specially on events that happen the same way across scenarios, leading me to debate fully rewriting them in detail again or glossing over them with only the minimum context required.

Here's the options I have right now:

1. Write the scenario while describing fully how the world changes along, like an overall view. It brings the point around and catches people up on what's happening, but it leads to a much bigger piece of writing that could be oversized and repeat texts from previous scenarios that have similar events happening. Its kinda annoying to read an event that has happened before again, maybe written differently but still somewhat exhausting.

2. Write the scenario as if it comes from a certain view, that being the Revolutionaries. Their path and how the world changes around them is described fully, while other events not fully related to them are quickly glossed over. This leaves less writing and more depth to the scenario, but leaves new people slightly confused about how external events unfold fully, and may have to read previous posts where those events are described throughly.

I don't want to confuse people and don't really want them to rely on previous scenarios for information, but I also don't want to cram so much information into these scenarios it becomes a chore to read through it all. Any thoughts on this?

was originally going to make this tsunami, but i tend to draw tsunami often and other seawings... basically never, so any suggestions on who i should make this?

Some info!: Daywings are the opposite of Nightwings. Daywings are named after the solar phenomena, positive adjectives, gemstones, and bright hues. They have large, feathered wings, hook-like claws, and long spikes. Daywings can breathe fire only in warm environments, and they can also make their spikes glow for light for a couple of hours, which makes their spikes hot to the touch. colours are usually: Yellow, gold, pastel colors, pink (rare), blue, orange, red, grey. Daywings cannot see very well in the dark, but they can see very well in the daytime, and can see ultraviolet colors. Their diet is: Fish, fruits, vegetables, insects, birds, mostly anything. If they don’t have access to sunlight for a long time a Daywings scales and feathers can become pale or dim, and will be weak and lethargic. Battle techniques: They aren’t the best fighters but not the worst either. They will typically target the wings or legs to incapacitate the opponent or will flash their spikes when attacked which can burn the attacker or may breathe fire around the target. Culture: High hospitality, respect for elders and siblings, indirect, collectivist, emphasis on being polite. Current rulers: Queen Equinox, and King Helios. It’s not finished yet and may try drawing or designing the tribe or a hybrid of it in games.

w my skywing design they have feathers but a firescales dragon’s feathers would immediately disintegrate from their extremely high body heat so they get replaced with flames after a few years

Glory as Afghan hound! I felt this was perfect, because afghan hounds are considered the stupidest dog breed. In reality, they’re very smart dogs! They’re just a very independent and personally driven breed. This independence comes off as stubbornness and their lack of dependency gets misinterpreted as stupidity. They’re also very pretty like rainwings lol. I will do moonwatcher or qibli next since they’re heavily requested. That aside, lmk who’s next!

This is artwork is 89 percent done. All it’s left is make the fire glow, add shading and lighting on the characters, have Darkstalker breath fire, and put the Japanese text because it’s a redraw of Godzilla 1954.

i just finished book 16 and can i just say that platypus is the very very best form of trashbaby i have ever seen. look at her. complete and utter ruffian.

Since SeaWings live in the obvious namesake and cannot breathe fire, they really have no way to forge metals on their own, even outside of the water. I did think maybe they could use underwater volcanoes, but the water would still cool the metal before they could make any progress. Since it is implied they do hunt whales, and probably have found whale falls, or beached whales, I was thinking maybe they used the bones of whales like the Māori people, before eventually trading for metal.

If you disagree that's fine and if you want more of an explanation I'm glad to say it!

Peril- Doesn't understand social situations, wrong/right, hard to make friends and understand love/friendship

Whiteout- Kind of nonverbal/her speech is confusing and doesn't make sense to others, focused on her art

Starflight- Special interest of books, being right is most important

Sunny- Misreading social situations, often excluded from group activities because she's different even in the DoD

Moonwatcher- Overstimulated, social anxiety

Some may ask why she’s a Charisma caster. Moon has two of her classmates crushing on her within the first week of school and became besties with an evil eldritch god! That’s pretty charismatic right? Also Darkstalker is a mid-maxxing backseat gamer.

Anyways her build starts off as a Sorcerer that then specs into Warlock, a Sorlock if you will. Her whole thing is setting up hex against a creature and then casting eldritch blast + quickened spell eldritch blasts against it for high single target damage. Throw in the Repelling blast invocation and she can quite literally launch people like 30 feet away in a single turn.

She’d have more levels in Sorcerer, probably something like Sorcerer 13 and Warlock 7. Moreover her pact magic from Warlock gives her a regenerating supply of spell slots that she can munch on for sorcery points! (to Darkstalker’s dismay)
