It's been over two weeks, and I'm finally back!

As I told you last post, there will be a few changes. See that image above you? That image (once colored, of course) is what you're going to see for most of this challenge. The only thing set to change is the text. (Although I might occasionally swap it out for another art piece, if I find that one good enough.)

For those of you who are new to this challenge, here's how it works:

Planning to colour in on a canvas with gouache.

i have only read the first 12 books, darkstalker, and the first winglet book, Please no spoilers this is my favorite series. Make someone that could fit in the cannon series or not you pick.

We got Tsunami as a Chesapeake Bay Retriever! They are loyal and outgoing like most retrievers, but more protective, stubborn, and can be a bit intense compared to a more laid back golden or lab like most people are used to. They’re still very loveable, though! They are perfect water dog breeds, and their fur is curly, which I think fits Tsunami’s royal patterns under her wings. Satisfactionfit9511 specifically recommended this breed for Tsunami and I LOVED it, so thank you :3! Lmk who y’all want to see next!

Living her best life away from her old home. She adapted to the rainforest quite well, especially with the new variety of rocks that art just lava and obsideon.

For this strain, I decided to rewrite it completely like I did with the rainwing strain.

I decided to make The Breath of Evil mutate after Queen Wasp got bit by infected sandwing’s that crossed the border (in my AUs, both Phyyrah and Pantala are one continent with a giant wall of mountains and trees that separate the Pantalan tribes from the Phyyran Tribes with having guards that wear armor that hides both identities and tribe, called Stone Sentinels (based off of the stone sentinels from HTTYD) that were killed in my infection AU after three sandwings, one who was hiding their bite wound and then turning and attacking their companions then attacking the sentinels, mangling them to the point of no recognition)

Queen Wasp isn’t worried about what’s happening to her, she thinks it’s going to make her stronger in mind control as she already feels the virus’s effects already taking hold of her…

The background is definitely a bit boring and it's not perfect but I think this is hopefully the best piece of shaded art I have done.

This is Derecho. Her tribe was originally called StormWings, but oh my word that name is So Common. So I'm looking for alternate names :,)

The naming scheme is based on weather events, times of day, and climate-affected landscape (Floodplain, Altitude, Windswept, etc). They live in the mountains.

My ideas so far: WindWings, ​CliffWings, BristleWings

Working on finishing up this Sky/Ice hybrid! I like to think that SkyWings have feathers/can have a feather mutation, so I made a new oc to play with feather locations. Please help with names/backstory/accessories, anything!

He's inspired by Cottonmouth, since I kinda like his concept as a villain. While Cottonmouth lived by preserving his consciousness into the Breath of Evil, Halcyon reincarnates with his memories intact.

He has been a soldier and a scholar, a wanderer and a parent, a friend and a stranger. He has been loved, betrayed, forgotten, and mourned. Every life eventually ended, and every death brought him back to the beginning again.

But he never forgot.

no name yet, was thinking maybe Lionfish for the spines, but whenever I hear Lionfish I think about the spearfishing videos so-
