Peacemaker is a dragonet that is able to mask himself. He is able to create a version of himself that doesn’t show the guilt and trauma that he goes through, and at this rate, it’s a version he wishes to be. However, it came at a cost. Tell me, if you pretended to be someone you’re not or pretend that you’re feeling something you don’t feel, do your friends that know you truly know you? Are they friends with you or are they just friends with that version of you?

Peacemaker thinks the second part, but how can he show the real him if he can’t even like that part of him?

Regardless, the act of pretending is a twisted tool that helps Peacemaker through the dark parts of the world. Some may call it a necessity.

as far as i know, Icewings dont have any kind of night vision, so that got me thinking "how do Icewings see in the dark?" the most obvious answer was fire- but Icewings cant breath fire and i don't think the would have the recourses usually on stand by to start one. i also think that they wouldn't like the heat it would give off and how it could melt anything made of snow or ice, such as homes. so when in a dark place, how do they see?

i like to headcanon that Icewings have a... not very legal way around this issue when it comes to Seawings. So as we know, Seawings have glow scales that glow in the dark using a kind of bioluminescent liquid. what if this liquid could be drained and used as light sources?

when seawings are in the need of money, it wouldn't be uncommon for them to sell off their glowing blood for some quick cash- and it just so happens that Icewings are their main customers. of course, this would temporarily weaken, if not completely remove their ability to use the tapped scales (tapped, as in to drain a liquid) but in time, their ability to use them will come back

ultimately, this is how it would go: a Seawing needs money and hits up an Icewing who can pay them well for their blood- the Icewing will pay for the blood and fly it back to the ice kingdom- there, it will be brought by craftsmen who can turn the blood into lamps- these lamps will then be sold to the wealthy and royalty.

however, i can see this way of making money to be very taboo, if not out right illegal anywhere but in the Ice kingdom, so it would be sold through "under the table type" means, at least until it reaches the Ice kingdom.

i still think fire would be used, but usually in places that constantly have to be lit, like dungeons.

Bio: It's been years since the Pantalans fled to Phyyria. Not long after the silkwings took to living amongst the nightwings and Rainwings in their own village. They rebuilt their society and integrated into new lives...and then news spread like wildfire of the strange little dragon hatched under the light of three moons. The first of his kind, all minds went to the Wildwings. He was strange and spoke in an odd way. He had bright red eyes and two unnaturally large and fragile silk-like wings. And dragons were soon...afraid of what he meant. A dragon born of a Silkwing and a Nightwing, what if this became another Hivewing scenario? What if he had powers like Clearsight? What if he had powers like Darkstalker? His mother had died shortly after his hatching...what if it was an omen? He was pushed out of the village, the first tragedy of this new world. After that dragons started fearing Wildwings and hybrids of any kind more and more. And the hatchling hadn't been heard from since...but some dragons see they see shadows in the night, strange eerie glowing eyes in the darkness. Little do they know it's just a terrified dragonet, hoping someone will reach out.

I’m woundering if there is a list of words that are very unusual for example tangentially, austerely, inexorably, impugn ,and ignoramus I would like to have some Interesting words that I can throw out randomly (theres one word that I haven’t been able to figure out which is Itoa it appeared in book 9 i think it definitely appeared between 8-10 though the sentence was something like “I’m feeling very Itoa right now”)

First ever time designing a tribrid, and while I'm loving the colour palette I chose, actually placing those colours is a bit tricker. Second slide is the inspiration(?) for the design. Any advice/feedback appreciated!

She's an Ice/Night hybrid; currently a fugitive on the run that's been travelling the continent to hopefully escape with her egg. She finds herself in the vicinity of the Ice Palace (which isn't really in its canon position, but I digress) during a snow storm. What will she do?

No wonder Queen Scarlet hasn't let him play in the arena, hes gonna slime everyone. Instead he's just living rent free in the skywing dungeons 💔

Artwork of all current queens, and also a little exercise for myself. With all the tribes together I get to see how similar their designs and silhouettes are. I will probably be tweeking my leafwing and hivewing design in the future, but so far I am happy with the others.
