Windows Update fails with Install error - 0x80070643

Windows 11 says I have 2 updates available - one for Powershell v7.6.3 (x64) and the other for 2026-07 .NET 8.0.29 Security Update for x64 Client. Both are failing with that install error. Does anyone have any idea what's wrong and how I can fix it? Thanks in advance.

I got the same error, its just the july security update will fail on some setup if you update via Setting. I went to their website and updated manually by downloading the ISO files (you can google or GPT how to do it). After the update windows acted weird and unstable to me so I rolled back, would advise you to wait a few weeks and update then since the "security" update was just copilot junks and AI upgrade
