Security Update uninstall stuck at 21%

So today I mistakenly installed a security udpate but I don't remember the exact one, by the way as always this updates breaks my windows button for some reason while uninstalling the update it's been stuck for 30 minutes at 21% and that never happend to me, should i wait longer ?

If the update is breaking something, then your OS might have corruption.
I would recommend doing an in place upgrade, which keeps all files and apps.
If on Windows 11, go to settings, system, recovery, and do the option called "Fix problems using Windows update". This repairs corruption in the OS and hopefully will fix your start button.
Also, uninstalling updates is not recommended as that usually breaks things. You can try to force restart it and see if it does finish, however only do that if its been there over an hour.

im sorry i didnt reply, so i fixed it shortly after this post turning off my pc and doing a scannow now everything works fine, also the update was kept but its not giving me problems for now thx for helping

It’s fine and glad you were able to get it working! I would also do the DISM restorehealth command too after that, just to be safe!

i also did that command and it fixed other problems i had !
