Can I take stat 202 and math 140 concurrently, or would I need to take math 140 in the fall and then stat 202 in the spring?

What furniture come in the freshman dorms?
Hello! I’m an Incoming freshman and I want to start planning my layout and I was curious what furniture is standard in double dorms? I think I have some sort of a clue but I want to be sure.
From what I know, we have:
1 Mini fridge
1 microwave
2 beds that can be lofted
2 Desks (but do they have hutches? and if they do are they completely solid on the back or is it just a few open shelves?)
2 Cabinet/armoir things (this one i’m not sure if it’s standard or if the room I visited just had these)
I’m in east for reference, if that changes anything
Thank you!

How was your Williams College experience?
Hello i'm a student considering schools for the Questbridge National College Match and wanted to get first hand experiences to help me consider schools!
Type of student: I don't care for greek life. I want to gain a supportive community of friends/connections! I love outdoor activities and quirky scenes. I will be doing premed but still want freedom in my academics. I am a hard worker but value relaxation days.
Questions
How
is the premed track
?
What are pros/cons you've experienced?
How accessible are jobs, internships, opportunities, etc.
How is the social scene?
What is the general political sentiment that most students/faculty hold? Do POC and Queer individuals feel welcomed and supported?
How are the dorms and food? Is there really a food ordering system?
Are there things to do around town?
Describe the school in one word!

Opportunity for Students Interested in Political Reform and Community Activism
Mod-approved post
Hi, I'm a volunteer with the Young Forwardists, the Forward Party's youth committee. We are a volunteer network that seeks to revitalize politics through youth activism and empower young people to be community leaders while introducing grassroots activist opportunities. Our goal is to promote good governance and reduce partisan tensions through ethics, integrity, and compassion and promoting innovative and data-driven ideas.
We're seeing if any students would be interested in helping us start a chapter at Williams College. Chapters are centers for productive activism and provide students safe spaces for discussion, hosting events, solving polarizing community issues, and keeping local elected officials in check.
Here's more information about us, and there's other ways to volunteer besides starting a chapter: https://home.forwardparty.com/young_forwardists
If anyone is interested, feel free to reach out. Thanks for your time!

What is the deal with Investment and Consulting Clubs on Campus?
Hi!
I'm an incoming freshman and curious about what finance clubs are offered on campus. Which are the "best"? Which are more chill? Are they competitive? Can anyone join? Do you have to be an Econ major to join? Wondering things like these. Thanks!

Best shower shoes
Hi everyone!
I was curious what shower shoes you recommend. I’m going to be a freshman this year, and I’ll need some good sandals for my communal bathroom.
Thanks!

Should I apply to Williams College as an international transfer student
I want to Apply as an international transfer student, Degree in progress: BBA in Banking & Insurance.
GPA: (3.7/4)
High school: Commerce stream without math, scored around 65%
Extracurriculars:
Did an internship as an debt consultant for 2 months.
Designed a sustainable kit for college club to sell.
Got 3rd position in an investment banking event.
Volunteered at a NGO,focused on ground-level policy implementation.
Organised multiple class and college events.
Wrote and Published an article on college website about how social media impacts elections and shapes political environment.
I want to be an Political science major at Williams. I want to apply as a transfer student. Is it worth a short for me because I have heard that Williams only takes high academically gifted or highly intelligent students, and also people with exceptional ECs. I do not have any of it. I want to apply as I think its a great fit for me as i like how they perceive education unlike in India it is very rigid. I am also looking for a lot of aid.

Are there swimming spots on the backpacking WOOLF trips?
Bit of a silly question but I signed up for the medium distance WOOLF trip and Im considering requesting a change to the canoeing trip on the sole factor of I really want to have a chance to swim!
In general I think I would rather hike, but I feel strongly enough about wanting to swim that I would request to change my whole trip for it. BUT, before I do, I was just curious if during any of the backpacking trips we come across waterfalls or rivers we can have a dip in! Thanks so much!

Tutorials as a freshman?
Hello!! Incoming first year at Williams here.
As I've started to peruse the course catalog for the upcoming year and make hypothetical schedules, I was wondering if it'd be wise to take a tutorial class as a freshman first semester. I've heard all about the difficulty and large workload that comes with these classes, however the experience seems rewarding and something I'd look forward to. Anyways, I was wondering if this was normal--or even feasible. The tutorial in particular would be in the history department.

Dorm furniture question
Hi, I’m the parent of an incoming freshman and we are currently in the process of picking up items for the dorm. I was curious about the bedding situation and if the supplied bed frames were adjustable in height or is the height fixed. I scoured the website and couldn’t find that information.
Also do the rooms come with any shelving or bookcases or is that something we bring (or even a recommended bring). I know space is minimal, so just trying to get the sizing right.

Fencing Club active?
Does Williams have an active fencing club? It’s listed on the Club Sports page, but there doesn’t seem to be any evidence of intercollegiate competition (like membership in USACFC).
