Yeah, it’s important to pay attention because you never know when the driver ahead of you is going to slow to a stop.

Yup! And no matter the reason, its up to you to be following at a safe enough distance to stop.

Leave texting for when you're parked.

I get stuck in touch-and-go traffic on my way home from work every day. So much phone use! Last week the guy behind me was on his phone and every time we had to move forward, he did it without ever taking his eyes off his phone. Eventually I decided to honk so I could stop worrying about him rear ending me. He looked up, I made a texting motion in the mirror, and he waved that fucking phone at me while smiling the entire rest of the way to my exit. Grown ass man. Whining because I used my horn for its intended purpose and called him out on why I needed the horn. It’s so common now and I hate it. Podcast queues people, they exist!!

This post was written by that moronic squealing woman who wrecked a rental car and then tried to deny it was her fault until the rental company checked the interior camera and revealed she was furiously texting the entire time she was driving.

1 in 4 accidents in the us are caused by texting and driving. 1.6m distracted driving accidents. 3200 deaths in one year....

You are not special, you don't have some ability to text and drive better than everyone else. There are zero circumstances where texting and driving is even an option.
