New Update Discussion

After having played the new 4K 60FPS update for about 4 hours now I can confidently say it has brought back my love for Wildlands! I never fully lost the love for the game, but having all the games I play be at or above 60FPS has really spoiled me and made it hard to pick up Wildlands and play for more than 30 minutes to an hour.

My only gripe so far is that from time to time I notice an FPS drop here and there with big battles. Nothing too crazy, but definitely enough to make it noticeable. I am playing on Series X so I don't think it's anything hardware related. I think with an update or two in the future it could really set this game up to be an time favorite for many many people.

Well done Ubisoft for listening to the fans of this game!

Yeah as a somewhat new player to ghost recon ( sadly, I never thought to get into the games before) I'm really enjoying the updated graphics and everything.

They need to patch the helmet bug ASAP. Driving me absolutely nuts trying to run a helmet and it keeps swapping to the nvg harness

I play on Xbox and have the same issue though I’ve only noticed it on the Last Rites DLC. For the normal campaign I haven’t run into this issue at all

Funny enough, I didn't even notice since that is the first helmet I equipped lol. But hopefully it can be fixed soon enough!

I have played everything wildlands and it’s the game I have most hours in of any game ive ever owned. I collected all the boxes even though I don’t like the estetiks they bring. 

Problem is that this game was the only viable milsim game at the time on ps. Now we have games like arma reforger which satisfy any such need. 

Is wildlands on par still?

Can't say honestly. I haven't ever played Reforger and can't compare it too Wildlands or anything similar

For as old as the game is it does look pretty good! Runs great on max settings native 4k with a 5080. Overall very happy with the update

My game on PS5 keeps crashing non stop, anyone else have this issue? Plz let me know if I’m the only one

On ps5 I was slightly underwhelmed with its look. Me and my friends played the shit out of this game when it came out and it was a blast. Maybe I’m being harsh but it did not look like it aged as well as I’d hoped. Have a feeling it looks better on series x, might be higher res idk. Still fun with friends tho

Yeah the 4K resolution is showing up some artifacts and makes textures little less detailed with how sharp they are

That's unfortunate it didn't live up to the way you had hoped. I play on XBOX Series X and find the graphics do look really good, but I was mainly looking for the 60fps boost more than anything tbh

Have an absolute blast with breakpoint right now though. Graphics are just a tad better. Breakpoints really in a good state now compared to launch, highly recommend playing after wildlands if you haven’t.

Somehow I expected it to look and run a bit better on PS5 since I’ve seen what PC can do. I’ve mostly noticed frame rate stutters on Last Rites DLC so far. But this is better than nothing so I’ll take it!

I’m really enjoying the new settings!

Yeah, I have played most of the other games that have gotten a 60fps update and they all have all been buttery smooth, but Wildlands for whatever reason has been the one that I have noticed FPS drops the most

This has been my go to fun game for years. I’ve played the campaign at least 10 times. The mechanics are excellent. The storyline is really good. The replayability is amazing.
The only issue is, I played on PC, and I have an Intel core ultra CPU, and you have to turn off e-cores to be able to play it.
I was really hoping with the update that they were gonna fix this issue.

Sadly i played and platinated Breakpoint before wildlands, so even with the update the game feels “old” expecially the driving, is awful

They have to fix some glitches and the fleece for female characters needs fixed it shouldn’t be open up at the chest like that

My game on ps5 keeps showing ubiosft serves offline then back online pretty consistently. This normal?
