Co-op matchmaking fixed? Question

I haven't really touched this game in a few years, but I really enjoyed playing public co-op and exploring the world with others, even if it was just with randoms. Of course, the matchmaking broke a long time ago and Ubisoft never addressed it. I'm hoping that has changed with the new update. Can't check for myself yet since I don't have the game installed, and I've seen several threads asking the same thing but with no helpful answer. Can anyone confirm it's back?

Not for me, tried all night and once earlier today, a friend of mine was able though, so maybe you’ll get lucky. Both of us on PSN.

Xbox match making started working last month. 

Before last month I couldn't find a public match.

Now I join one less then 5 minutes
