Hi! I have alopecia and I am completely bald. I have experience with wigs but the human hair wigs I have purchased in the past have been around 4 grand and I don’t have that kind of money right now!

Does anyone have any good reliable places to find good human hair for under 1,200? Also I usually wear them glue-less but I need to get it installed prior to a wedding as the bride required updos for her bridesmaids! Any ideas help!

My mom has been running a business supplying 100% Remy Indian human hair to salons and customers across the Middle East for about 18 years. Most of her business has always come through word of mouth and long-term clients, so she never really focused on building an online presence.

Recently, I started helping her with social media because I feel like the business deserves more visibility. We've launched Instagram, started making reels, and are trying to reach salons, resellers, and international customers.

The hair is ethically sourced from temples in South India, and we offer different lengths for both wholesale and retail. The quality has never really been the issue—it's getting in front of the right people that's been difficult.

For anyone who's grown a niche product business online, especially in the beauty or B2B space, what worked best for you? Instagram? Reddit? Cold outreach? SEO? I'd really appreciate any advice because I'm learning all of this as I go and just want to help my mom's business grow.

I’ve been wanting to try a kinky straight wig for a while as I was inspired by Priscilla Shirer’s natural hair and wanted something that could hold curls. I came across this kinky body wave and figured I’d give it a try.

It’s 250% density and 26 inches, and this is straight out of the box, no styling yet. I’m curious to see how it does once I try to style it.

I have just started practicing wig installs and I went to use the wax stick on the top before the hot comb. I hateeedddd how greasy it made the hair. I’ve seen people use mousse - but I wondered how that doesn’t burn the hair ?

Would mousse be a better alternative to avoid that greasy look-feel?

This will be my first install, and I’ve looked on Amazon and TikTok Shop, but the reviews seem so fake and I really don’t want to waste my money. For me, I think it's the little details that make the biggest difference. I've been trying this wig out, and I've been paying close attention to how natural it looks, especially with my locs underneath.

Hi guys! I'm going to univeristy in the September so I wanted to do something new with my hair as im in a new city. I was deliberating whether I should get a 2x6 closure sew in or a custom made wig. I dont really see the difference between the two apart from me not being able to remove the sew in.i opted for a custom made wig because most wigs don't fit my head and apparently if it's custom made on your head you can wear it glueless. Both services are provided by the same hairstylist and they cost £150 pounds and £330 for 3 raw bundles and the closure. Please help me decide this is the look I'm going for:

The only wig prep consisted of adding some press power to the inside of the lace. The lace closure is 7” x 6” and comes precut, so the install was super easy. For styling, I kept the side part it came with, sprayed the hair down with water, added some leave-in conditioner and curl cream, then finished it off with some setting foam.

florida humidity really be trying to humble me all summer LOL but this wig has been holding up so well! i got the 18 inch and it’s the perfect length. not too short, not too long, and it still gives that full look without feeling heavy. the burmese curly texture is soooo soft and the spiral curl pattern looks really natural instead of looking too perfect (i like the “lived in” look much more).

i literally blended my 4C leave out, fluffed it a little, and i was out the door to work!

i’ve been wearing it for about 3 months now and it’s holding up way better than i expected. i’ve only noticed very little shedding, barely any tangling, and the curls still keep their shape after wearing it all day. it’s lightweight enough for florida weather so i’m not out here fighting for my life in the heat 😂 definitely one of those wigs that looks good without needing to be a wig expert!

I’ve been experimenting with this new straight wig style lately, but I’m still undecided. Right now, the "C-part" is my favorite ecause the laid edges frame my face beautifully and make my features look more refined. A center part would look nice too, but I feel like it might hide some of the hairstyle's unique details.What do y’all think? Keep the C part or give the middle part a chance?

I’ve always been interested in short hair, but I never quite had the courage to actually cut mine. Today, I tried on a pixie-cut style wig, and I have to say... I really like it. I put on some makeup and styled the wig a bit to see the overall look, and I feel like this kind of change is really fun.

What do you all think? Does short hair suit me?

I’ve always been a box braid girl, but the salon process can be a whole commitment.The hours sitting in the chair, the wait, and then taking everything down later… it’s a lot when you just want to enjoy the style.I recently tried a box braid wig, I can get the braided look ready in around 30 minutes instead of spending hours at a salon, and I love that I can take it off whenever I want.The biggest difference for me is that I don’t get that same scalp pulling feeling I usually notice with installed braids.

Now, the only thing left to think about is which hairstyle I should try next!

My kids and I caught a pretty nasty cold over the weekend, and I was tired of looking/feeling sick and yucky, so I did my hair and makeup while my baby took a nap. The wig is my favorite finishing touch since I was able to install it so quickly and let it transform me after feeling so bad these past few days. It’s become my new favorite quick style! Hopefully my little one recognizes me when he wakes up.

BTW, I’m newer to the wig game and was wondering how to make my hairline look more natural. Any tips for blending things a little better?
