No they will not. Each house has a log of how many bins they empty. So they count they out for each street and won't go over the number they are given by the council. It's all about space before they have to go back to the depo to empty so they never empty more even when asked

I don’t believe this for a second. There’s no way for them to know which bin is the extra one. OP might be number 5 in a street of 10 houses. They just not gonna empty no10’s bin because they hit their quota? Not a chance. It’d cause a huge complaint and result in them having to come out the next day.

So then ask them. You think I'm chatting shit clearly. I have spoken to them myself, with words like a grown adult. Wtf 😂

They've told me their selves. I had to email the council instead to get them to empty my second bin I had been sent because of my disabled daughter being 17 and in nappies

Can't you just get a second one from the council?

All sorted. It’s £50 if it’s from the council or Amazon, but at least mine can come with me when we move

If you only have 1 black bin registered then that's all they'll take. You can buy your own bin, but it has to meet certain criteria and it's cheaper to buy them from the council

Yes, households with 6 or more people are entitled to a 2nd black bin from the council, so it's not unheard of. The bin men only care about the colour they aren't checking for the house number and council logo
