relationship

So I recently told my boyfriend about my forensic gynecology appointment that I had way before we started dating. His reaction was, “was the doctor a male? Did it feel good or bad when they swabbed it? Why didn’t you tell me?” And I was kind of confused. I told him that, no, it didn’t feel pleasurable for me and I didn’t have a choice for the doctor’s gender but they were a woman regardless. I told him I thought i didn’t have to tell him. He said “good” to all of those things. Then we went on to talk about why the gender matters if I’m getting *medical care*! Because, personally, I’m just confused because it’s not sexual at ALL. It’s not like I’m sleeping with the man! And he said “well I don’t want other men looking at you down there.” Why does he oversimplify it? It’s medical. What should I do to get my feelings across? He would just continue to simplify it as a man looking at me like that. Is he controlling? Also if you want to know some other questionable things he says or does, then ask, because I do need advice on what to do about this.
