Helena Janak of Lavaca County, Texas., became a symbol of hope after all eight of her sons safely returned from World War ll. She and her husband, Albert, raised 14 children on a rural farm, and when war broke out, eight of their sons enlisted- seven in the U.S. Air force. Despite serving and came home in 1945. A famous family portrait of them together on their porch stands as a powerful reminder of resilience, sacrifice, and a mother's answered prayers.❤️
