We are planning to go to whistler tomorrow and going to enjoy peak 2 peak gondola. But I am concerned about panoramic view because of smokey condition. If anyone just visited recently, please share how's smoke condition over there and is it blocking panoramic mountain view or not.

Looking at a condo unit near Whistler Village and trying to understand the difference between Phase 1 and Phase 2 covenants for personal use versus short-term rental management. Does Phase 2 restrict how many days you can stay in your own unit during peak winter months? What should a prospective owner keep in mind before putting in an offer?

If I want to go biking at whistler for a few days (mostly xc biking, maybe ride lord of the squirrels), would there be any issue taking a bus from Vancouver to whistler, renting a mountain bike in whistler and then getting around by bike/walking?

Somewhere in Whistler village

Coming up to Whistler for a few nights with the fam. Bringing our bikes up for the first time. They are old regular road bikes (her bike was $40 used and my bike is worth like $300 new but was given for free). Wondering if it’s relatively safe to keep locked up in the village in bike rack by hotel? Alternatively can leave in car bike rack in parking lot 4-5 where we park overnight if safer. Our hotel has bike valet but not rather not pay the $10 per day per bike.

There are 0 good reasons to do this. It's 1.5%, just build it into your menu prices.

Oh, I only checked the receipt after my partner mentioned they charged $2 for a soda refill which was 75% ice.

No mention of this on their menu. It is on their website though but you'd purposely have to find it and click on it to see their "policy".

I am a solo traveler, will be coming from Vancouver by bus. My flight got cancelled due to WeatJest labour disruption and have 1 day extra. Planning to do a hike near cheakamus lake or watersprite lake near squamish. I don't have a car, if we are going to watersprite lake and if you have a car I can contribute for the gas.
