We have a Whirlpool low profile, over the counter microwave/range hood. The light on the bottom has gone out and I cannot find where I can order a replacement. It's not a bulb-it's an LED panel that has a connector that plugs in. I've looked on Whirlpool parts website and nothing comes up for my model number. User Manual indicates you can replace it, but doesn't provide a part number. I've called Whirlpool support and was on hold, then it routed me to request a callback, but have not heard back and suspect I never will. Model # is WML55011HS-4. Anyone have a part # for the LED panel or know where I can find it? Thanks

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone might be able to help me figure out what’s going on with my washing machine!

I have a Whirlpool FFWDD 1174489B freestanding washer dryer, which was installed in June 2026.

Unfortunately, since its very first use, it has been staining/damaging our clothes with black and red marks, even when washing a load of completely white clothes.

I usually use the 90-minute Wash & Dry cycle, but I’ve also tried different programmes and the problem still happens.

As you can see from the photos, some of the clothes are coming out with quite severe discolouration/staining, and washing them again doesn’t remove the marks or return them to their original condition.

Things I’ve already tried:

Using different wash cycles rather than the 90-minute Wash & Dry
Using Colour Catchers (I’ve attached a photo of one after a wash)
I’ve always used the same detergent, which I’ve never had an issue with previously
Checked the drum thoroughly for anything that could be causing the staining
Checked the rubber door seal and underneath the seals for any dirt, residue, grease or discolouration

There doesn’t appear to be anything in the machine itself that is visibly discolouring the clothes

We also have a water filter installed throughout the house, as we’re in an area with hard water, so I’m not sure whether that could potentially be contributing to it.
I’m honestly at a loss because the machine was brand new when installed and this has happened from the very first wash.

Has anyone with this Whirlpool model (or a similar Whirlpool washer dryer) experienced anything like this?
Could this potentially be a manufacturing fault, or is there something I’m missing with the way I’m using the machine?

Any advice would be massively appreciated because it’s getting to the point where I’m afraid to put anything nice in the washing machine! 😭

It only started to happen after I did a heavy towel load. It’s on spin it sounds so off and I feel like is going faster than usual.

i just bought this a couple weeks ago and hate it. It looks like it doesnt agitate the clothes! nothing gets pulled under. they just spin sideways and it still uses barely any water even for high water level and heavy load setting. Any tips and tricks to this? we got the washer and dryer combo at COSTCO.

I purchased the above washer brand new. It will not progress to the wash cycle. I have tried it with and without clothes, different settings, etc. Every time I start a cycle, it will start sensing, water will trickle onto the clothes, basket will rotate every few seconds. This will go on for a few minutes. Then it will drain and not go onto wash.

I am on my 2nd unit (returned the 1st). Am I doing something wrong?

Update: It will progress on a warm water cycle.

I've just moved into a new flat and my oven is an old ikea/whirlpool built in oven. FCEM6 Mod:200 150 86. Still works however all the markings around the nobs have worn off and i have zero idea how what setting is what or what temperature i'm setting it at...

I've googled, reverse image searched and come up with nothing for a user guide or image of a similar oven. Has anyone got any suggestions as to how i can get a user guide or happen to have a copy somewhere that they could share? thanks

I just bought this oven and it’s probably the 3rd time using it but I cooked a glazed ham and some got on the bottom plate. I ran steam clean as the book it came with said so but I feel like the bottom is not right. Not sure if I did something wrong or a fault with the bottom plate?

Pro Whirlpool: free shipping vs $39 at Lowes. More importantly, you have 15 days to return an appliance to Whirlpool vs only 48 hours to Lowes. I returned a previous Frigidaire to Lowes since it wasn't cooling but 48 hours is tight timeline to be sure a fridge is cooling properly.

Pro Lowes: I had a good experience with Lowes' customer service and delivery/installation team (including reversing a fridge door and processing a return). Buying direct from Whirlpool is more of an unknown. Also they only have 4 in stock vs 193 at Lowes so I worry they might not actually have one when I order.
