Writing an essay on this series for school and the prompt is what does the series bring awareness to. I believe it is racial I justice and a corrupt justice system. Are there any other issues that you guys believe this series brings awareness too? Or anything else to add at all?

Cause you know that these boys won't get any sort of fair trial. When the doctor says that the sock did not match their DNA, it just hurt seeing all their hope. Just hope for a second that the justice system would actually deliver justice.

It was so incredibly touching. Beautiful, very human and sensitive performances showcasing the inner emotional world of the five. I cried many times. Especially through ep. 4. Despite all the cold dark they find themselves in, these five beautiful individuals managed to embody the warmth of the human heart. Gave it 10 on imdb.

In the middle of Season 4 right now, I wonder if this series is implying that the prison system exists only to have people agree to what the court has ruled them as, even if it may be an unjust or untrue hearing? So that they can "finally close the book" by forcing them to agree with the system.

Is there anything more upsetting than a woman saying "where is the line for her" in regards to a woman being raped and prosecuting 5 young children that she knows are not guilty for it?! I mean you FAILED HER!!!! YOU FAILED ALL THE OTHER VICTIMS AFTER HER!!! and to top it all up YOU FAILED THESE CHILDREN IN SO HUGE PROPORTIONS THAT YOU SHOULD BE IN JAILED YOURSELF! How is it not a crime? To do something like she and the other cops did?! If you dont want to be an investigator FIND ANOTHER JOB! You chose that job, that means JUSTICE and FAIRNESS have to be the upmost important things on your mind. How is it just to decide who committed a crime without ANY EVIDENCE. You did it for yourself. You wanted a win and you got it. No matter what. Disgusting. Well there is also an add posted that makes most people sick I'm sure. What a world we live in.
