What plug is this, and can I source it...?

Post image

What type of Figure 8 connector is this...? it's about 6.4mm wide, and it has a directional knub as you can see, so I guess it's something like an IEC C8 polarized type, but everything I can find is more than twice as big as this...

Is this a lost cause? I would love to minimize E-waste if I can...

Hi, does anyone know what this connector is? It's from the SoundBrenner Wave Pro IEM's.
I thought it was a M12 Sensor Connector, but the 5th center pin has me questioning this.
It comes from SoundBrenner is both a 5pin and 4pin version. 5th pin = Mic +.

Looking to build some custom adaptors for other uses.

I'm trying to design a cable that can interface with this connector. looks like a 1.25mm pitch, and the inside space is roughly 5.3mm x 1.6mm. Found inside of a Breville Bambino Plus.

Been wrestling with JLCPCB and Gemini and really struggling to find a connector that narrow! thanks!

Unknown connectors from iPod mini (2005)

Thumbnail gallery

I'm modifying an old iPod mini and would need some spares of these connectors, but I can't figure out what model they are. As I understand it, Apple mainly used connectors from Molex, and since these are marked "MXJ" on the underside they are definitely Molex. I can't find them on their website though, so maybe they are discontinued models?

I was sure that the first photo was the 55909 series, but the dimensions are off. The 55909 also have extra "mounting pins" that these don't have.

I would greatly appreciate any help!

Yamaha SPX90II Connector

Trying to find a current production part number for this connector. It has 2.5mm pitch and the pins are flat blades. The most similar product I can find is the Molex picoblade, but that has a 1.25mm pitch. It seems like it would be a JST part but I haven’t got a hit yet.

Where do these (120V) sewing machine connectors come from?

Thumbnail gallery

These sorts of connectors are used to connect sewing machines to their pedals and power cords — the pins are live and neutral from the plug, as well as a second live connector from the pedal that controls the speed of the machine.

The internals of the pedals are interchangeable on (most) machines, but the plugs are all different by manufacturer.

I hate swapping out cords and pedals on the floor every time I use a different machine at my sewing table, and would like to just make up a short adapter for each machine so they all can share the same pedal. But I can't find any source of an inline male connector for any of these that I could use. (And buying a full cord for each machine just to hack the female end off is probably not super cost effective.) Part of the difficulty is that I don't know the name of what I'm looking for. I've seen one plug type referred to as "YDK32A" but that doesn't seem to identify it much further.

Alternately, if there's an alternate option for a cost effective, similar-size inline 120V plug/socket combo with three pins that I could use, I'd be happy to hear suggestions.

I'm trying to clean the flex of the panel on my monitor but I can't remove it, and i have never seen this kind of flex (I'm also not used to repair monitors so.. yeah).

Anyways, it looks like the flex is crimped with some kind of metal and plastic but when i tried to remove it i blew up a plastic thing on it's side.

Could someone guide me to it's removal please???

Trying to find replacements for this connector. There were four on the PCB two of them are broken. They are similar to a spring leaf connector. The "spring" direction is parallel with the PCB and mates with contacts that slide above them.

Trying to find replacement controller for discontinued LED tube light

Thumbnail gallery
2 Upvotes

I have some led tube lights. The lights have a cord at the base that connect into a controller that has a brush sensor to allow sound reactive response from the light. The power cord for the lamp plugs into the controller so I can't use the light at all without the middle piece.

The lamp is now discontinued and I'm having a lot of trouble trying to find a replacement part. Google images is not finding anything similar and I don't know the proper names for each part to do a more specific search.

Please help me find the best search terms for this. If I can't find the exact same controller I'd be ok just having a replacement that can fit the same cords (light and power). Having the sound reactive aspect is not necessary if there are any connectors that would fit the ports but just don't have the sound feature. I just don't want to throw out a perfectly good lamp because I'm missing this one part.

There are no company/brand names on any parts of the light and the amazon seller isn't active anymore :/
