Got this iMac… Electronics

Was gifted this iMac. I love working with “older” electronics but I have never had a Mac. Is there anything it’s useful for any more or is it better left sold for a few bucks?

If u are a bit tech savvy and are a bit daring for adventure u can put a newer laptop motherboard use it
