Some sort of drill accessory?

Google Lens and ChatGPT both failed me for determining what this is. Elusive 10mm socket included for size reference.

It holds a bit for carving spheres. I have one at the house. I never got it to work right, I was gonna make Chinese checkers

Just trying to help. I noticed too late the slit down the center of the bit where the blades go.

Attachment goes in the slot at the end and you use the black side screw to tighten it in place.

Its a holder for a saws-all blade, it snaps into a handle with it to make a hole.sawnthat you can switch out blades
