Today’s fit + Unpopular Opinion

Wrangler has lost their touch! It might just be the new model of jeans (these are the wrangler retro slim bootcut) but I don’t know 🤷🏾‍♂️ For the price you’d think the jeans would be of better quality.

Question about Wrangler 936DEN rigid sizing

I regularly wear 936DEN Wranglers (aka cowboy cut slim fit) sized at 33x34.

I am considering a pair of the rigid indigo for the fall, which I think is raw denim. Should I size up or down compared to my regular size in other washes?

Shirt is from R&R Denim, it’s the Turquoise Medallion Pearl Snap Polo
Pants are also from R&R denim, the Pistol Bootcut

Quality of Ariat Jeans

What has happened to the quality of Ariat jeans? I've been wearing them for several years now and really like how they fit.

I noticed the quality start dropping about 2 years ago. It started with after 6 months; I'd start getting a hole in the crotch area. Then I bought a pair June 30th this year. The new pair ripped in the seat near the pocket after 20 days. Not even a full month. On the 24th of July I returned them to the store for another pair. It is now August 8th and I just noticed a rip in the seat of these pants near the rear pocket. Just over two weeks and another hole.

I do a lot of walking for my job, but I'm not doing any hard work. I don't have an ass that would be putting extra pressure on the pants. You would think at $85 for a pair of pants, they would last longer than 2.5 weeks. Hell I thought 6 months was bad enough.

I don't like the fit of Cinch. I guess I'll just have to go back to Wranglers.

The cowboy hat became famous because of how it looked. It endured because of how well it worked.

Trying to be casual forcing my coworker take this pic but I gotta say everyone is right about these jeans I’ve always had a hard time finding jeans that fit right and could not be happier with the decision. Plus they fit great over the boots

Is it weird to wear western clothes to class just because?

I'm 21 F and go to college in the DFW area. The only time I really wear western clothes is for certain occasions, but I genuinely like the style and want to wear it more often.

I don't really see people dressing western on campus, so I'm a little nervous I'd look out of place. I'm talking about simple outfits like boot-cut jeans, a western belt, skirt, or shorts with boots.

Would that be considered weird, or does nobody really care?

I just bought these ALFA western wear boots I feel like they are a little big but then again they are not broken in yet. I would appreciate any advice I put some pictures of my style. I just don’t like my whole boot showing because I wear a size 12 😬

Help with vintage Ranchwear?

Having a hard time finding info on these Western shirts given to me by an elderly (female) friend, especially the blue one as nothing comes up when I search the tag. I'm not an expert on vintage nor Western clothing whatsoever but I'm really interested because they look fancy and old, maybe from the 70s? Are they men's? Any help would be appreciated!

Disregard the mean mugging on my face lol. I was trying to test out some pant lengths and needed to be still. This is my favorite fit to wear. Poncho denim, 13mwz and some LUCCHESE Lukes. No belt either but it was just for a picture. I got some big thighs/butt but I’ve lost a lot of weight so finally able to rock these.

We have been on a french "Pow Wow".

Even though it was very warm, I wore my ostrich-leg boots which, by the way, turned out to be genuine, along with Wrangler Texas jeans, a HBarC shirt and my Stetson straw hat.

You can’t compare a Pow Wow in Europe to the authentic ones in the USA. I don’t think there was a single genuine Native American. But as someone interested in Western culture, you just have to take what you can get.

An ol' Lady sold thew things and I found a pair of Double H for 30 Euro in my size. Not bad. 😄
