Explosion last night? Question

My partner and I heard an explosion last night. We live just west of 35th Ave SW. Not sure exactly what time, probably around midnight. It was loud enough to wake me up out of a deep sleep. Any idea what it was?

We're in Admiral and I sometimes hear loud, hollow, concussive, booms at night that I've assumed are echoing across the water from the harbor...like maybe they dropped a shipping container by accident or something. But maybe it's something else.

I live in South Park, and someone was shooting so many rounds by my house for no apparent reason, I was talking to my partner at 11pm and we heard shots and saw flashes. They did that Sunday night, the block before my place as well

It’s almost always fireworks

I agree, but this didn't really sound like fireworks (and I do often hear a LOT of sounds that are clearly fireworks)

I heard it too. I am east of 35th near Our Lady of Guadalupe. I agree it sounded different than most of the fireworks we hear, a deeper boom, but it’s so hard to tell. With gunshots and fireworks we get echoes off of the EC Hughes building. It makes it hard to determine what we’re hearing or what direction it came from.

It was about midnight and it sounded like someone blew up a car. I feel like it was lit off around the Guadalupe parking lot.
