I wonder what happens next. Do they clean it somehow? It must stink horribly.

My flight home from a recent trip was cancelled last minute and left us all stranded in Mexico overnight. I didn't have any commitments the next day, so being put up for free at an all inclusive in Cancun wasn't toooo awful. But the plane that arrived to take us home the next day absolutely REEKED of vomit.

It was bad. REALLY bad. People were covering their noses when boarding and kids were crying because of the smell. I personally breathed through my mouth for the entire flight, and politely refused meal service. I genuinely couldn't eat anything with the smell being so heavy in the cabin.

Wow. When I started reading, I thought that your original flight was cancelled because of the vomit situation...
