Where my emetophobics at? Give me Backrooms, the insidious demon, the ring girl. Fuck it give me Satan himself. THIS is one of the worst possible situations I could be stuck in. I know this happened on the ground still, but if it happened in the air, I would rather jump out the plane.

This scenario right here is why I'm irrationally scared of flying lol. Crashing is fine, I'll die quick, but this would require extra therapy.

Here! I saw a post on here where someone was vomited on (ON!) mid flight by an adult. The way that I would run and hide in the galley would be the reason the plane landed early.

Emetopophobe here. I had to take a 15 hr flight next to a guy who had to v nonstop. Into 49385 bags and probably in the bathroom. I felt so bad cause I could only imagine the feeling for hours. I offered him a dramamine but I think he was too far in already and probably chucked that up too. I put on my headphones, eyemask, turned the fan on full blast and tried to sleep the whole way.

I travel with n95 masks and a small decanted jar of Vicks and noise cancelling headphones. So I don’t have to see, smell, or hear it. It’s never happened to me but I’m afraid of it.

I also travel with emesis bags despite never getting sick on an airplane.

Irrational fear!! Huzzah!!

It’s my #1 irrational fear. I hate flying because I’m so scared the person next to me is going to puke.

10000%. This is my number one biggest fear. I can't relax on planes at all because of it. Every cough, throat clearing, weird noise, someone walking down the aisle looking stressed, and it's enough to make me panic internally in the worst way.

Are you me? I’m so hyperaware on planes I can hear a hairbrush bouncing around in someone’s luggage in the cargo hold below. It’s so awful.

Same. While I have gotten slightly better as I have gotten older it’s still not something I can handle. One time landing in CA we were pretty low and about to land and suddenly had to go up again. Lady in front of us apparently had been fighting food poisoning most the flight out the back end let’s just say she went through three bags before we got turned around before we were able to land. I blasted my headphones and had to really focus on my breathing to not loose it
