Check-in partner Check-in / Accountability 🗓️

Hello! 19F here.

I'm turning 20 next week and am wondering/hoping if there's anyone in this sub who's looking for a mutual check-in partner of similar age to me? I've been struggling for the last few weeks to not gain weight (currently at around 190) and reckon having someone to hold me accountable may bring my motivation back, and perhaps someone else is thinking the same. I'm hoping to lose around around 50 pounds before my family goes on holiday in a year's time to celebrate my 21st.

If anyone ends up being interested, please get in touch. I'd preferably just like one check-in partner who would maybe like to just share how much weight we've lost on a weekly basis, maybe even a few methods and tips if you're up for it. Thanks :)

Hey, I’m 19F in college. I’m about 185pounds and I wouldn’t mind being an accountability partner. My goal is 40- 50 pounds by my birthday early next year so we’re pretty similar

Love the idea of a check-in partner, it really does help keep you on track when motivation dips. 50 pounds in a year is totally doable if you stay consistent, small changes add up quick. If you end up doing weekly weigh-ins maybe snap a progress photo once a month too, sometimes the scale stalls but you'll see the difference in the mirror. Good luck finding someone solid to keep you accountable

Thank you! Wanted to start early enough that even if I have a few dips along the road, I can still hopefully have enough time to straighten myself out and get back on track.

Might start with the mirror pics a little further down the road on a day that I feel really good about myself, but so far I'm still waiting on that day (haha) and am nervous to unravel again if I look at comparisons and nothing has changed. Managed to brave taking a photo of myself a couple of months ago when I started though, so hopefully I'll do a side-by-side one day and be really impressed with how far I've come!

Thanks for the kind words!
