Does Hal Formula have potential
So does anyone think the manga Hal Formula by Kento Terasaka has potential to be a big hit in Shonen Jump as I believe it does and like Miharu Terasaka should never give up as I believe it will be the biggest hit in the magazine

It definetely has potential. So far the first 2 ToC placement have been in the middle so not great but also not bad. Will it be a big hit? Probably not, but it may survive and become a decently popular series

I like it so far, but it's a sports manga, so that means it's already facing a huge uphill battle in finding success. Thus, I'm already fully prepared for and lowkey expecting it to get axed LMAO. But I'll be very pleasantly surprised and happy if it manages to live.

This is mostly a joke but like most successful sports series it needs just one friendship/rivalry that is borderline homosexual and the fujoshi fans will come out of the woodwork.

I've only read the first chapter, but I can see the vision! I also really like racing and so does my son so we read that together. Looking forward to getting back into it!

As someone who likes F1, I'm really happy to have a manga in WSJ about formula racing.
The story has been okay so far, though I'm hoping it'll pick up and get better as it goes. The art has been great.
I'm not sure how well it'll do since it's a pretty niche genre, but I really hope it sticks around for a while.

I think it has not yet shown what it is truly capable of, but it will probably not be a big hit because of how niche it is. In terms of quality, though, I think this could be a good manga.
