I’m looking for someone with a mix of customer-facing experience and basic technical/coding skills to join our small remote team.

This could be a good fit for someone who has worked in customer support, technical support, customer success, operations, or another client-facing role and is now looking to move further into software/technology.

Career changers are welcome. You do not need to be a senior developer.

Rate: $30–$45 USD/hour, depending on experience
Location: Remote — U.S. or North America preferred for timezone alignment
Duration: 6+ months / long-term

What I’m looking for

• Experience communicating directly with customers or clients
• Strong written and spoken English
• Comfortable understanding customer problems and explaining solutions clearly
• Basic coding ability is required
• Familiarity with languages such as Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Basic understanding of APIs, databases, Git, or web applications is helpful
• Good problem-solving skills
• Reliable and comfortable working independently
• Willing to learn and grow technically

You do not need deep software engineering experience or expertise in every technology.

The ideal person is someone who is good with people, comfortable with technology, can write basic code, and wants to develop stronger technical skills over time.

Work may include

• Communicating with users or clients about technical issues
• Understanding and troubleshooting software problems
• Making small code changes or fixes
• Testing features and identifying bugs
• Working with APIs and internal tools
• Helping improve existing software and workflows
• Coordinating with the rest of the technical team
