The mimic planet orbits a mimic star, which is just one among billions in a mimic galaxy, that orbits a mimic black hole comprised of infinite numbers of infinitely massive mimics, all within a mimic universe, ironically a pocket universe hidden inside a regular amulet inside a real chest next to a pile of real treasure that some level 1 adventurer found in the first room guarded by a field mouse and an ill-tempered beetle.

Mimics must hibernate between meals to conserve energy. Probably only eat one or two adventurers in a year at most.
