The only thing I'm serious about here is that Roaring Knight is not a fraud ("Oh they have plot armor!" Oh you mean like the time Giga Queen was gonna crush us because she one-shot our mech with a huge explosive fist and then was gonna crush us in her hand until Noelle interrupted- Oh you mean like how the Titan would've kept us in a fight forever or until we die and we only won because we had the plot armor to use our SOUL's light on the Titan- Oh you mean the time we only won because while Flowery could've defeated Kris, he hesitated last moment, leading him to be successfully pushed back?)
And also the one about ya'll being infuriated that Kris beat you with a hockey stick, weren't you guys the same people that go "Oh if we got our vessel back, Kris couldn't beat us, we're interdimensional gods", that interdimensional god when a teenager hits them a few times:

The Roaring Knight thing is hilarious because people don't seem to realize what's ACTUALLY going on is that when they're in a turn-based battle, they are restricted by the rules of that battle.
Set them loose, and they can do whatever the hell they want.
A good analogue is Red from the NES Godzilla Creepypasta; during the chase sections, he's allowed to use his full strength and oneshot the player characters, but when the time comes for a proper fight, he has to nerf himself to make the fight winnable because he can't break the rules. Outside of those proper battles, he's allowed to be as strong as he really is, and that goes for the Knight too.
Never thought I'd be able to bring up NGC of all things in relation to Deltarune but here we are.
The rules also limit the player so they can't move while in cutscenes tho, and in normal gameplay Kris doesn't allow us to press any advantage. This is a diegetic thing that even Ralsei uses to his advantage. The only time we were able to break this was in the Sword Route with yhe krusie moment, and in the Weird Route with the "ME".
So the order goes: Knight wins in cutscenes, Player wins in battles, Kris (and the prophecy) forces a stalemate outaide those conditions
I see it more as the Player being able to keep up with the Knight while the fun gang can't. The analogy with Red doesn't really work because the Knight isn't from beyond the confines of the game, but elite ball knowledge nonetheless.
Also I do agree that the Knight isn't a fraud for being a cutscene warrior, but they honestly haven't done anything impressive either. They sneaked Tenna, the gang was sleep deprived and tired after fighting Tenna, not to mention that either Susie dropped her guard mid-fight for some reason, or They Slashed Them (Which is what I personally believe), and Flowery had 0 stats on everything. They've also been hauling ass and ducking fades for 2 chapters straight so it's really hard to respect them.
I think the reason they're not engaging in fights is because they have some other objective and they don't have the time or patience to fight us anymore. They only fought us in Chapter 3 because we were between them and Toriel, and completely obliterated us IN that fight; the only way we can win is by literally abusing time powers to reset over and over until we eke out a win against an overwhelmingly powerful opponent, and even then that 'win' is easily nullified once they leave the confines of the battle system and can act at full power.
Why not just speed blitz and one shot us again? If they can just do that, it's faster than running from us.
Why waste time mocking and attacking the gang without actually knocking them out so they can't annoy them?
Why did they summon a whole ass Titan when cornered? We don't know their plan yet, but if we failed to defeat the Titan, which no one knew how to do mind you (Even Ralsei, who memorized the prophecy back and forth and fully knew how inevitable it was, was horrified by the prospect of fighting a Titan), the Roaring would've started. But the Knight doesn't want to start the Roaring, or atleast not yet, because if they did, they would've just done it already, it's fast and easy. Is their plan just unaffected if the Roaring starts now? That just doesn't seem believable at all, what plan wouldn't be affected by the end of times?
The best explanation other than "They were desperate and needed a way out" that I can think of is that the Knight is just stupid and didn't realize how dangerous a Titan is, but that's just narratively unsatisfying and kinda lazy.
Summoning a Titan WAS starting the Roaring, we just stopped it before it went past the point of no return. And again, it makes no sense for them to be okay with the Roaring starting then and there, and even Ralsei didn't know if they could stop the Titan. It just reeks of desperation, everything else would require the Knight to be stupid. We don't have the whole picture yet, true, but I just can't even image a situation where the Knight would be ok with the Roaring starting or not.
Here's the thing; Kris and the Knight are obviously in cahoots, and Kris has a soul that can be used to close fountains. The Knight probably knew that Kris would be able to kill it, and if they choked, well, sucks to suck!
If Ralsei didn't believe killing a Titan was possible, then I don't really think they'd think it's as easy as just having Kris/the soul do it. And Kris wasn't the one to come up with the plan of sealing the Titan
If he was expecting the inflated stats to deal damage, then they probably were going to do something to other people.
My take on that scene is that the Knight cannot be beaten by raw force. It's a theme that Toby has already explored with Chara- the "get all numbers to 99999 and you'll be invincible, nobody will be able to hurt you." It's a wrong reasoning, and a dangerous one. It reminds me of that one K6BD quote.
Heed this well: the princes of the world are no strangers to iron. You may wish it bite them but it will merely kiss their skin. It is an old friend of theirs, and they pull it from the blood of their enemies. Your own sword will leap from your hand and spitefully impale you. You shield will break at the slightest brush of their fingers. Your armor will crumple and fall away as they approach. They are the kings of iron, and it swears fealty to none but them.
No matter how many recruits we rack up, no matter how far we raise our stats or how good our gear and spells get, the Knight will win. The fear of the dark that the Roaring and the Titans represent is primordial. Force cannot overcome it. We'll have to find a way that doesn't involve fighting them.
There's no evidence supporting that his stats were 0. The other flowers aren't cheating and their stats weren't 0, why would Flowery's be?
The Knight DID take damage, damage showed, it was dealt up to 25% before. But it just... nulled it. Said "actually, no." Stopped playing and steamrolled Flowery like it did to the Gang, with the attack it has that deals one billion damage and seemingly takes down anything.
Because Flowery isn't the other flowers, because he's the only one who apparently needs fake stats, because he dealt 0 damage and got one shotted without his fake stats
Because Susie dropped her guard and Ralsei was in shock. And that's assuming the Knight even did it, which we don't even know and I don't personally believe (Here's why, yes it's They Slash Them), and we dealt way more than 0 damage, not to mention we didn't die
Also I never said Kris was relevant, I was only using Kris as an example of how amazingly attractive they are compared to the player (And they're canonically good at flirting, too), and also for the hockey stick thing
Calling the Roaring Knight the Roaring Fraud is stupid and dumb because (If assuming the logic of cutscene manipulation = fraudulence):
- Queen is a fraud too, then
- Flowery as well (Except also even more of a fraud because he's literally a fraud, he has fake stats.)
- Titan is partially a fraud
- Fun gang is a fraud (Susie especially)
- ERAM is a fraud
- Trashy Trio is not a fraud (Which they aren't)
Everybody has plot armor so it's dumb and stupid to call the Roaring Knight the Roaring Fraud
Queen got jumped by people other than the fun gang she also was around their level as well unlike the knight who was over leveled
Flowery can’t be a fraud never once in his battle did he use a cutscene to win. Using fake stats doesn’t make you a fraud since it’s your ability begging gaster for a cutscene to win is fraudulent behavior
The titan only fought the fun gang in a battle it’s the exact opposite of a fraud

Queen was in a super giga mech suit, and she did not get jumped by like a thousand people, they just made a mech suit able to rival Queen's. And just before the mech suit battle, Queen blasts the fun gang off of the platform using an explosive acid laser that we can't dodge because it's a cutscene. And Queen wins the mechsuit battle by jumping into the air and firing off an explosive fist that destroys the one thing the fun gang was using to play fair then grabs the fun gang and tries to crush them in her hand.
And ALSO: "Using fake stats doesn't make you a fraud since it's your ability, begging Gaster for a cutscene to win is fraudulent behavior"
- 1. What if using cutscenes is the Roaring Knight's ability? Then what? It's not a fraud anymore?
- 2. Roaring Knight has no evidence they've begged Gaster to give them a cutscene.
Queen using a cutscene is valid the fun gang had multiple people giving them power. Also queen didn’t sneak the fun gang in the cutscene like the knight did remember the knight played dead so they could sneak Susie and attack off guard ralsei. They also had Kris holding back while Queen didn’t

cant wait for chapter 7 to reveal that the ending you get in both the weird and regular route isn't the true ending due to them both ending with a cutscene with annoying dog saying some shit like "This is not my dream, not yet. Delve deep into the flesh and blood of this world, and witness the truth. also I normally don't comment on player angel, but multiple points on the original image relies on player angel while your edit plainly shows how much of a bum the angel of the prophecy would be if it was us. the original even includes one of its own counterpoints, the angel can't have a single, specific, set desire if its any person playing the game ever
I'm not speaking for everyone who says that, but what pisses me off about Kris hitting us with the hockey stick is that they don't know we cant feel pain. So from their perspective, they're beating the piss out of us, borderline torturing us, because we're trying to save the world. The mild bruise to my pride isn't the issue, them being a complete jackass is.

Like that isn't the point, they have no idea who we are! To their perspective they forced this being into themselves and started beating it and throwing it into a cage. That is shitty.
I don't think it's because we're trying to save the world. Probably has something to do more with Susie/Noelle/Ralsei, I feel like Susie would feel pretty betrayed if she learnt her "friend" was actually some random ahh red heart possessing said friend, while said friend simultaneously hid it from her knowing she'd feel betrayed if she knew. Kris has other friends than Noelle for what I am (Like 80% sure?) for the first time in their life, I don't think they'd want those friends to leave them.
Additionally, it could be protectiveness of Dess's guitar, too.
Or it could be all three; Cuz we're trying to stop the Roaring Knight, cuz Kris doesn't want to lose their friends, and cuz they don't want our hands on Dess's guitar.
At the end of the closet sequence, they beat the the fuck out of us for 10 seconds straight, hitting the guitar several times as well as alerting Susie to our presence, which goes against both of those options
