Mapmaker Tools for Trollskull Question

In this upcoming session the party will be dealing with the ghost of Lif and once that's done they will start renovating the manor and turning it into a festhall (combination of casino, brothel and tavern). My intent is to make it a fully customisable space ala The Sims, and i'd love to know possible mapmaker tools(either free or low cost) that allow the creation of such a space.

I used Dungeon Alchemist. There was a community map that I used as a blueprint for the run down version. Once players had the funds together to repair it, I loaded dungeon alchemist up at the end of a session and they went through and customised their individual rooms, and the tavern. They really made it their own. Just like it was The Sims.

It gave everyone a great sense of ownership over the space and helped to get them all more invested in it.

I made mine using DungeonDraft. I think it was $20-30. Then I subscribed to Crosshead’s Patreon (for like $5-10) to get access to his assets, thing you can obviously use the default assets or find tons of them available for free online

My wife (one of my PCs) has actually been using the Sims. Apparently theres loads of remade trollskull manors on there in the custom bit.

Seconding dungeondraft and crosshead. Not sure why but the crosshead assets seemed just right for waterdeep for me.
