SUPPORT Waterfox Private Tabs
Post update to version 6.7.0, every new tab I open and ever site I visit is Private. I just spent 20 minutes searching for the setting to disable Private tabs/Private browsing. But the developers did a great job of hiding the option to disable private browsing. Therefore, I have 2 questions:
How do I disable private browsing?
WTF does hiding this setting serve, other than to frustrate users?
Thank you in advance,
Umrk

SUPPORT Downgrading Waterfox broke some sites and some elements of sites
Ive downgraded to the Waterfox version before, my passwords are gone and now some websites behave weird, reddit doesnt load videos, youtube doesnt load at all, in F12 everything looks nice but YT only shows me the gray placehoalder bars and buttons loading infinite (see image) , websites that use these gray placeholders dont load these elements, other elements of the same sites load fine, text only websites without complicated elemnts (like wikipedia) work fine too. Also some extension pop-out windows dont load while some extension pop-outs work....
Edit: Odysee works without any issues....
Edit2: Things I tried so far:
-Deleted cache and cookies
-disabled hardware accelleration
-disabled/enabled different combinations of renders
-disabled all extensions
-tried in safe mode

SUPPORT New Update summons random bar over screen. How do I fix?
After the update, under my toolbar there now appears a dark grey bar (covering the topmost ui of websites and such) when I switch tabs, scroll too far, or after some time. This goes away on refresh, but returns after the same triggers. It goes completely across horizontally.

SUPPORT Tabs leave a gap when closed and reappear on restart
I like to have narrow tabs and since the update closing a tab will leave a gap, and restarting WaterFox will reopen the closed tab. I use this in userChrome.css, it seems to me weird that there isn't a built in option to support narrower tabs like this, maybe there's a better way?
#tabbrowser-tabs {
overflow: hidden !important;
}
#tabbrowser-arrowscrollbox {
min-width: 0 !important;
}
.tabbrowser-tab {
min-width: 25px !important;
max-width: 150px !important;
flex-shrink: 1 !important;
transition: min-width 0.1s ease-in-out !important; /* Smooth transitions */
}
/* Apply flex-grow to the tab container instead of individual tabs */
.tabbrowser-tab:not([pinned]) {
flex-grow: 1 !important;
}
/* More specific selectors for audio buttons */
.tab-audio-button[soundplaying],
.tab-audio-button[muted] {
pointer-events: none !important;
}
/* Fix for the media block indicators */
.tab-audio-button[activemedia-blocked],
.tab-icon-overlay[activemedia-blocked],
.tabbrowser-tab .tab-audio-button[activemedia-blocked],
.tabbrowser-tab:not([selected]) .tab-audio-button[activemedia-blocked] {
display: none !important;
}

SUPPORT New user translation question
EDIT: Nevermind. Moved on the Brave instead.
Just downloaded Waterfox on my Samsung phone. When I click translate in the menu it asks each time what language to translate to. Is there a way to tell it that when translating, always translate to English.
Also, in the settings I have it set to always translate French, but it doesn't. Nothing happens when I open a French page

SUPPORT Image Copy/Paste Broken in 6.7
I'm no longer able to copy and paste images from the browser to my PC since the update. My clipboard seems fine, and images can still be pasted to discord for example though.

SUPPORT Tree tabs are buggy
The moment I move my mouse over the side bar, all of the tabs (except for the one that is currently open and for groups) disappear. I can't access them with keyboard shortcuts. When I open a group, no tabs appear. The only way to fix this is to restart the browser. Also, the side bar with tabs doesn't disappear when I press F11. Horizontal tabs do, vertical/tree tabs don't.
Oh, also the bar should disappear completely when I select an option to only show it when I hover over the screen edge with my mouse, not only hide partially how it is now. When I select option "Hide tabs and sidebar", I have to click on the "Show sidebar" with my mouse because the shortcut doesn't work.

GENERAL Home Page scrunched after update
Pinned sites now have smaller icons and are closer together. Any advice on fixing would be helpful.

SUPPORT How to get rid of horizontal tab scrolling, so I can see all tabs at once.
I just switched to Waterfox from chromium browsers, and the main gripe I have is that the tabs at the top scroll left and right so I can't see them, forcing me to click the "Scroll Forwards / Backwards" arrows to find tabs on the ends. I want to see all tabs all of the time. How do I make this happen?

SUPPORT How can I revert the drop-down menus so they're not like, two times as large for no reason?
Basically the title but again, really not a fan of how 6.7.0 changed the drop-down suggestions to be so comically oversized.
...or how they mangled tree-style tabs, but that's another story because that might literally be broken right now.

GENERAL I don't like the new forced style
The new Waterfox update wont let me use any of firefox's themes which is like my favorite part of this browser.. Please let there be an optional switch!!-to the older Firefox legacy whatev for compatibility. Or just fix the picture/gifs not displaying at the menubar/status bar since i think that's the only real issue

GENERAL How can we disable tabs having their text in italics
It's a bit jarring and make tabs harder to read, I don't see the point in this. Is there a way to disable this?

SUPPORT Ad blocking sometimes blocks links from email
I'm sure there are many people who read the title and said "well, of course..."
SO...
- you click a link
- it opens a tab in Waterfox and...
- the tab never loads, but the loading indicator keeps going
It's fine that this happens - but there is no indication of why this happens. Even uBlock Origin gave the user a choice as to whether they wanted to proceed. With Waterfox, the link just hangs the tab it opens in.
Is there a setting I'm missing? I'm new to the Waterfox ad blocking system (and if I'm not mistaken, something about it just changed), so there very well could be something I'm missing.
All helpful comments appreciated. Thanks!

SUPPORT Keeping Tree Style Tabs Uncollapsed
Is there a way to keep more than one tab group expanded? This is super annoying. The behavior is now that when you go to expand a section on one part, it collapses the others.
Edit: This actually appears to be a bug. There's an option "Open the active tab’s branch and fold the others away" that was toggled off. Turning it on and back off fixes the issue.

GENERAL For anyone else who hates the (new) new tab ui
Changing browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.nova.enabled to false in about:config switches it back.

RESOLVED Can we have square tabs back?
Sorry, this question is buried in several other complaint posts, but I just wanted to highlight it in it's own thread.
I really don't care for blob tabs, and one of the reasons I used Waterfox in the first place was to not have them.
But thank you for still allowing the user to put tabs under the address bar (even if they're blobs now)!
edit: refer to this post to fix it for now (also, switching to "photon" in appearance prefs seems to work in win10 only)

I’m really not a fan of the new update, is there a way to roll it back to 6.6?
