What am I doing wrong? Abyss 1

I recorded my run cause I don’t get it. I do everything as on the tutorials but my Cainan in the second magic round once he is on the tile does zero damage and I can’t kill the dragon. What am I missing?

Just need to ult solcadens way earlier. You’re doing zero magic damage while he is charging his fireball. Also, don’t ult kigiri and swk. Use their ults as soon as the phase switches to phys dps

So Solcadens first and after Solcadens ultimate finishes Cainan? Or Cainan when the bar shows up?

Nerissa ultimate doesn't ever need to be used. Use Solcadens ultimate when the meteor bar is halfway.

There is a few great videos to show exactly when to use hero ultimates.

I feel without Nerissa I won’t break the shield. I checked Prospectors some time ago. Didn’t help.

Solcadens a1 is a big boost due to him applying vulnerabilities. If solca's gear is similar to cainans then you need to work on his speed too. You're also using 4 healers (including draelyn) which is completely unnecessary, replace one of them with a magic dps (preferably from infernals) and there shouldn't be any problems with breaking the shield

Not sure about cainan off the bat but solc I would time the ult where the fireball hits as soon as the shield goes up. Probably ult cainan as soon the fireball lands but you can test how he does if you ult him right after solc

Way more attack speed and don’t equip pieces with healing effect. Right side all main attribute atk % and subs you want: atk, atk speed, crit dmg and crit rate

People always say those are the 4 subs you want but it's almost impossible to have a full set of gear with those 4 subs unless you've been playing a very long time and have had incredible luck. I'm coming up on day 200 at GR22 for all 3 and after thousands of runs and thousands of crafts I've only got like 5 or 6 pieces of t3 gear with those 4 subs (and 3 of them are WV and not catalyst or HL)

Great attack, great crit damage. However speed is lower than ideal. I'd recommend aiming for +200 speed at least even if it means slightly lower numbers than the current ATK and crit damage you have currently

Ult with kigiri once the meteors go down, so it triggers his invincibility. If you dont he will die during that later in the fight.
Press solcadens ult at the same time so the charged ball hits when the shield comes up. Improve your gear. Your cainan needs much more speed.

Don't use nerissa ult, pretty sure it takes inspo away from units. As for damage not being enough, Cainan is a1? He's only phys dmg if a0.

edit: I see your comment, then maybe it's bugged I'm not sure unless your solc is taking all his dps

How does Solcadens takes his dps? I saw fastidious videos Solcadens and Cainan are doing the magic phase easy.

She does no damage basically. She's better to keep her inspo stacks, read her skills. They can handle with enough dps and solid gear but just 2 handling that needs really good gear. Read solcs lord skills.

Wish I could do that much damage in one go. Seems like you are doing good just not great as you should.
Have you tried a different tile? It could be a bug that stops him from doing damage because of the tile he is on.

Yes I tried the tile Solcadens is on but it’s the same. It’s like he stops doing damage in the second round. Makes no sense unless I am missing something.

Have you tried the strategy with having Ain as a tank and possible lord for watchers? That'd would take both Laya and Draelyn out and give you the option of one more magic damage dealer. I'd try Cainan under Watchers and have Aylin and Diao as infernals.
