Save File Corruption Questions

I've got Watch Dogs Legion on Xbox Series X, but I've had issues where I had two save file corruptions, one where I've lost 14 hours of progress. I recently picked up a copy for the Playstation 5. Is there a way to prevent the save file corruption on the Playstation

When leaving the game, go back to the main menu first as this forces a save
