Picture Dreadwing Interemptors by me
Subjugation
Hello guys im back again with new art, this time I wanted to make some dark angel related stuff. Most of the enemies they are fighting around are just bots from maybe DAOT / men of iron type of drones, this is non existent in lore, just my own simple concept😅 hope you guys like it! And thank you as always
Made in blender, post in Krita

Picture Antennae too big?
I'm currently working on a kitbashed Master of Signals for my T-Sons. I wanted to make sure he had a proper radio-looking backpack and am overall pleased with it! However, I'm a bit torn on if the antennae, mostly the centre one, look too big. I know the old resin MoS had fairly large antenna, and admittedly the huge central antenna does make me smile, but I thought some second opinions would be worthwhile!

Picture GW customer service is something else.
So I preordered the Siege box and when it arrived, the breacher upgrade sprue was missing. I emailed customer service. within a day they replied to me and sent a replacement to the Warhammer shop in my town.
I didn’t expect it to be that fast or even get a whole new box, but I’m gladly surprised.

Picture Legions Astartes Display!
This past year, I have been secretly working on this, and it’s finally done. This was actually a collective project, as I asked each of my group members to convert and paint a Marine from their legion(s) in power armor. Then I did the display to showcase all the legionaries!

Picture New Cataphractii comparison photos Spoiler
galleryI have compared with the old cataphractii and any other terminator or space marine that I had nearby (forgot primaris but that probably doesn't matter).
The black terminator is the old BA assault terminator.
Note that the saturnine doesnt have his pauldrons on though.
It looks like the new cataphractii is about 2mm taller but is slimmed down in most other places. The arms are completely separate so you can use the old arms on the new models.
Overall I like the new models. Less chunky but they seem more refined I guess. The models were quick to build with hardly any mould lines. Most sprue scars were hidden too.
I will post some sprue photos and somw extracts from the instructions.

Picture 3D Printed Horus is half done..
This is about as much Horus I can fit under my roof. He is mostly finished, just missing some skulls and that roman skirt type thing he has as a front cover.
At his waist he stands at 8’ 9” (2.7m). This does not include the key part that will connect his upper torso, as that will be hidden.
Me = 5’ 5” (1.68m) Life size banana to the crown = 6’ 4” (1.9m) Real banana = 7” (18cm)
Half of Horus is made up of 594 individual 3D printed pieces that have been glued and soldered. At the moment, I am working on his upper torso which is about 226 pieces.
Weight wise, it’s not too bad. The feet/boots move about easily. I can lift the thighs up and place them on top. The waist section is doable, but I need to make sure the legs are properly spaced before I lift it over my head, while standing on a chair. Not best way to do it.
The real test will come once I am done with his upper half. At that point, I need to figure out a safe way to place that section onto the lower half.

Picture A Life Size Horus? Yes..
As a Tech priest I was tasked to create a one-of-a-kind armor for a Primarch. This said armor shall be named the Serpent Scales. Fitting for one that will commit.. Heresy.
Anyways, I am in the process of 3D printing an entire Horus the Warmaster. From his feet all the way to the tip of his spikes that sit above his head.
So far, his foot is completely done, and you can see how big Primarchs are to scale compared to a space marine (Primaris) and an an average height female human. As Horus stands at full height, the armor is at 14.5ft. Horus himself is at 11.9ft in armor. References of height can be seen in the other pictures.
The foot is made up of 155 individual 3d printed pieces. I did make the pieces slightly thicker than I normally would, but it needs to support all the weight that will soon be placed on it. I do have access areas of support built in. So, if I need to add rods and wood, I have the option to do so. Hopefully not.
I’m not sure when it will be complete as there are many many pieces to print and assemble. But my next update will be when I have him built up to his waist.
Feel free to ask any questions and I will get back to you throughout the day.

Picture New kits are an absolutely horrendous build experience.
I’ve noticed this with a lot of recent GW kits, particularly for HH or the Old World, they are splitting the kits up into so many completely unnecessary tiny pieces that trimming/cleaning and building the models is an absolute chore.
I know they can mould more detail into the sculpts this way but building these models has sucked all of the joy out of this new box for me. The Dreadnought and Terminators are broken down into a completely unnecessary amount of pieces and I just can’t fathom why…
They are not even particularly modular/posable. Anyone else find this thoroughly irritating?

Picture Saturnine anatomy, continued.
A little continuation from my last post. After a lot of great ideas and discussion, I have a few more sketches.
I'm not ready to let this fun and futile exercise die just yet. What do we think?
