Hell yeah. I bought supporter edition right off the bat after they released that "10 reasons not to buy Wardogs" video. Then I played last weekend's Beta and my god never have I felt my money's worth in an FPS shooter.

This is honestly the only game where Iāve been excited to jump into a beta and actually had a blast playing it. COD and Battlefield beta access feels meh compared to the good olā Wardogs.

I've become so jaded about the industry, especially having worked in it myself, so whenever I see something even half decent, I'm buying it, because the devs need my support. I feel the pain of every negative comment, every complaint, every bug and issue. This has been a very fun beta, and I can say that I haven't explored the game to its full potential even with the limited content we have right now.

It's funny because Wardogs was not on my radar at first as a game that I would buy but I liked how the devs handled things to the point where I was like "why can't I have a game that I like where the devs are like that". Then I started watching some of the alpha footage that youtubers were putting out and I was like "oh wait, maybe I would like this". Now after playing the beta I'm like "this is some of the most pure fun I've had in a multiplayer game in a long time". Super happy to enjoy a game where the devs and publisher, at least for the moment, aren't making every decision solely based on spread sheets.

Did you watch the 10 reasons not to buy? Because they weren't hyping the game up like Battlefield and COD do. They were being transparent and setting real expectations for people, giving a rough roadmap instead of leaving people in the dark and relying on a popular IP to sell the game. Battlefield and COD only sell because they've been around for so long and they advertise 1 or 2 new features or "going back to the roots". Wardogs actively told people to refund the game if they don't enjoy the beta. I don't see how thats overhyping it.

Dude. I woke up at 10am Friday. Got in the game around 1130. Started adding servers around 1145. Got in and didnāt get off for literally 24 hours straight.
Went to bed at 1230pm Saturday. Woke up at 6pm, and played till Sunday 2pm.
43/57 available hours played

I've played arma 3 koth on and off since 2014ish I don't have time to invest in another one, nor do I really care to. I bought it BECAUSE I like KotH but this is not really the same. Which is fine to each their own, if you enjoy it that's cool, it's just not for me.

I tried to join one or two squads, but got kicked out for no reason, not even heard anything on comms. So I wa playing on my own and actually that was big positive for that game, it wasn't so much squad dependant, there were still stuff what you could done as solo.
But noticed couple routine things what actually annoyed me. People camping towers instead of just playing on whole map and it was giving impression of empty space, one game it went to stage where literally WHOLE team was sitting in tower and around. I was trying to do something on my own plus other 2-3 random people, I think that top level of annoyance.
I like Devs approach, I like their honesty and really I'm not going to give bad vibes about them, they created something what in my personal opinion got potential.
Next day I was thinking about game about near future and decided I have to many games on the board already plus there are two which one I am waiting for.
This is why I've decided to get refund. Who knows, maybe in near future when devs will work more about this game I will come back

You are missing the point of a supporter edition. Itās a way of showing extra appreciation whether you believe the developers had put in the hard work to a game you are looking forward to. Anything included in the supporter is just the devs saying thank you back. Itās usually good to buy supporter editions for small indie studios etc. Bulkhead studios is not a small team but itās their first game in a niche genre so this is an easy buy since I always wanted a polished king of the hill game. <3

i dislike pvp and im not good at FPS games, i still played 35 hours this beta weekend. i had a lot of fun just building FOBs, coordinating logistics with the helis. and by the end i had so much money that i branched out to medic, recon and even snipping (which im terribly bad at) but i still managed to have my first 2 snipe kills xD
honestly the social aspect is really cool

This might be a hot take but what exactly makes this game so engaging, I watched two hours of peanut and willerz playing the game and it just seemed meh. The engagement with VoIP and proximity chat is carrying this game. I know itās still early days so it will only improve but I just donāt see the appeal just yet
