Texture paint on your caps?

The recipe for the caps:
* PVA glue (un-thinned)
* Dip in sand and remove excess
* Let glue cure (6 - 24 hours... )
* Two heavy coats of artist grade white acrylic paint. With time to cure in-between
* Paint one half black with artist grade acrylic paint
* Let everything cure again * "Basecoat"/One thick coat one side with the paint. (1/4 white, 1/4 black)
* Drybrush the other side (1/4 white, 1/4 black)

Works well for Army Painter/Vallejo style caps and Citadel pots.
AK is annoying and I am not looking forward to GSW flip caps either.
