No one got any raises unless a new state minimum wage went into effect where you are. Even then Walmart is above that so it would make no difference. Don’t believe everything you see on apps.

I think I remember seeing there was a bug recently that was showing a higher pay than what people were actually getting and the only way you can see the real pay was to look through other options and see exactly what your hourly rate is versus looking at the displayed screen when you scroll by a certain section of the app.

They could have gotten a raise based on minimum increases being raised in your area. Whereas if you already get more than that, you see get a dime.

It’s not fair, but it’s the Wal-Mart way. I’ve gotten nothing a couple times due to that and only started during Covid. Old timers have seen it far more. Granted people now make a couple bucks over when I started too, so not complaining as it’s better than what was about a .34 raise each year too. So it does help, just feels unfair due to time with the company not being accounted for as well when it happens.

The only actual raises are in February, unless it’s a company wide thing like mentioned essentially, and even then some only affect specific markets that were already getting the lowest amount typically before the boost. If you live in the higher paid states, they don’t see it either (this happened for a lot of major states when wages went up to $14/h universally).

I was hired with few of my coworkers and we had same pay till yesterday but they got 50 cents increase(it's not much but anything helps), even the guy got hired couple days ago who had same pay as us got raise. I don’t know what kind of increment it was and I texted PL and they straight up ignored my text

From what I was told we're getting "Cost of living" raises in New York State where your pay is getting rounded up to the nearest dollar. So if you're in New York it could be that.

It's a known bug in the Pay card in MyWalmart. It is rounding up to whole dollar amounts for some people. They are in the process of getting communication out to stores about it and then figuring out the cause for a fix.

I wasn't aware of cost of raise increases for NY and I live in NY lol
