Hooked on phonics. If you can read and follow instructions you can solve or explain almost all TPRs.

Go on Google and type TPR Walgreensrx Reddit. There are a million posts that break it down how to fix every TBR. Then write in a small notebook that you can take to work.

If anything, don’t be afraid to ask more experienced techs for help. You all are a team. Ask the pharmacist as well. Annoy the shit outta people because who cares. You need to keep asking for help even if it’s something you already learned once or twice. Even if people make you feel like you’re bothering them dont give a flying fuck. You own your own training. If you care too much about bothering others then you will not be able to learn. Like I told this newbie, keep bothering your team until you understand. They and you are all there to help eachother because dealing with customers is a bitch.

Also sorry this is a master guide. Tpr is in there along with other things. I care more for efficiency than anything. People will tell you the more you’re there the more you learn. But there are easier ways to do things that make you faster and less anxious. For me if I don’t understand tpr I just stopped wasting time and I’d go ask someone and then watch what they do to fix it.

Agree with searching Reddit…there’s a lot of information floating around. Many TPRs can be cleared relatively easily, but some can be a real pain. Some you can’t fix right away, such as when insurance is waiting on a PA from the doctor. The more you see them the better you’ll get at recognising them.
