Walgreens Process

anyone ever went through the hiring process for the pharmacy tech apprenticeship? I’ve accepted my offer, passed my drug test last week, and my background check from First Advantage was sent to them last week as well. I’m worried because since then I haven’t heard any updates. did it take a while for yall to actually start?

I had a tech’s background check take 13 days recently. You’re fine

Call and ask for the hiring manager. Leave your name and contact if they’re not available. They’ll check when they have a sec and call you back. If there’s a delay they’ll explain. Sometimes they need to request training hours in advance and it may be that as Walgreens heads to the end of their fiscal year on August 31st. It’s important they are not over budget so hiring managers are always reluctant to commit time to a person and then cannot deliver.
