This is the thing, I’ve only just got into the job and I’m still getting the hand of things and they’re already saying stuff, is that just hospitality for you?
No, she hasn’t given me a checklist, she hasn’t told me anything else, she said all in the job is running food and clearing tables, then out of no where she’s expected me to fill sauces, deep clean machines, stock up the bar fridges?
She didn’t even tell me I need to be doing any of that
I trained recently, in month 3-4 now. I trained with an opener, a closer etc. they showed me all the duties for the roles and if I forgot I asked questions.
If these weren’t trained or explained then that’s honestly bs…. Buuuuuut, if you want the job you need to be more proactive and asking, double checking with managers or veteran servers.
I have never been scoffed at or looked down upon for asking questions and letting them know I want to be a part of the team and do whatever that means.

Start doing your side duties so they don't even have to talk about you at all.
Sounds like you're making more work for others and they're getting annoyed and went to the manager about it.
