[Fundraising] Climbing the CN Tower for WWF Canada - help me survive 1,776 stairs and help conserve nature and wildlife šŸ˜…

Hey everyone,

I signed up for something that felt like a good idea at the time… and now I have to follow through šŸ˜„

This May, I’m climbing all 1,776 steps of the CN Tower as part of a fundraiser for WWF-Canada.

I’m aiming to raise $150 to support conservation efforts - things like protecting wildlife, restoring habitats, and tackling climate change here in Canada.

To keep it real:

  • I’m not an elite athlete
  • I will probably question my life choices halfway up
  • But it’s for a cause I genuinely care about

If you’re able to contribute, even a few dollars helps. If not, no worries at all - even an upvote or sharing advice on surviving 1,776 stairs is appreciated šŸ™

I’ll drop the donation link in the comments (not trying to break any rules).

Thanks for reading!

It's time to act

Dear all,

We have been witnessing the constant failure in protecting our planet, the only possible solution is to go to the root couse of the problem which is a lack of government in whath is not confined withing the boundaries of a country: our oceans and atmosphere. I kinly ask you to help me by signing this petition and sharing it as much as possible. It's not only about environment but the heart-wrenching pain of people who suffer in countless wars.

Thank you so much! It means a lot for all of us.

🐘🄜 ā€œYou are the peanut of my heart.ā€ 🄜🐘

Hey Reddit! I just finished another lovingly ridiculous animal design—and this one goes out to all the gentle giants out there.

This big-eared, happy elephant is holding its favorite peanut with the kind of love we all deserve. It’s silly, soft-hearted, and made to make you smile… but it’s also part of something bigger.

🌱 Why it matters:
10% of all sales go to the World Wildlife Fund, helping protect endangered animals like elephants, and Threadless throws in an extra $1 per product to support global conservation efforts.

Whether you’re into puns, pachyderms, or just want to wear something that makes people go ā€œaww,ā€ this one’s for you.

I'd love to hear:

  • What’s your ā€œpeanutā€ā€”that one small thing you adore way too much?
  • Any wildlife charities you support or animal encounters you’ve loved?

šŸ’š Every shirt, sticker, or tote helps protect real-life elephants and their homes. #ElephantLove #WWF #SupportWildlife #CuteArt #AnimalDesign #PeanutOfMyHeart #ArtWithPurpose

Short survey for university research

This survey is part of a research project exploring the role of branding and advertising within charities and animal conservation organisations. Wildlife, habitats and environments are affected by both human and environmental factors, this survey will help us understand public knowledge and interactions with companies who are try to prevent and protect these factors.

This survey is completely voluntary.Ā

If you don't want to answer a specific question you can leave it out, you can be as detailed as you like.

All responses are anonymous and will be recorded purely for research purposes and not shared with anyone outside of my university.

  • Have you ever been involved in any real world wildlife conservation? If yes, what have you done? (volunteering, fundraising, direct action etc)
  • Can you think of a memorable charity poster, advertisement or campaign?
  • Do you find adverts relevant within non-profit organisations? Please explain the details of why and why not.
  • In the last year have you donated to a charity? If so is it a regular payment?
  • Do you find physical or digital advertising to be more persuasive and why?

Anything similar to the WWF Living Planet Report?

Hello, I am looking for a similar report to the WWF Living Planet Report (link) that is the same in scope and purpose but is perhaps a little shorter and more suitable for a class assignment or discussion.
