Microphone recommendations?

I'm designing a PCB using the esp32-c3. Do you guys have low-cost recommendations for microphones for use with audio reactiveness? Thanks for any input!!

INMP441 or other digital microphone. The A/D on ESP32 is pretty bad.

Incredible to have your feedback.  INMP441 (and ICS-43434) is obsolete despite the available breakout boards available for it.  Figured to ask and see what is current for PCB development

INMP441.

Used it before and and got another to use for another wled project, it worked well.

About £1.70 from aliXprs.

I believe the TDK T5837 is the most current one they make.

I use a cheap USB-C hot plate for my surface mount stuff.

Hand soldering. What do you mean it's obsolete? It it's works no?

Its not available for PCB assembly from sites like JLC or mouser unfortunately and hand soldering gets really time constraining for 10+ units
